Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize print precision and magnetic recording precision for a long period and to convey a print medium without any trouble due to a slide by conveying the print medium across an elastic member which uses a rubber member where oil hardly sticks and a magnetic head. CONSTITUTION: A rubber member consisting of a rubber composition of 100 pts. natural rubber or synthetic rubber, 5-20 pts. carbon black, and 10-30 pts. calcium carbonate which contains no plasticizer is used for a conveyor roller 4. In this case, if a plasticizer is mixed even slightly, the plasticizer dissolves preprint ink, which resticks on the roller to decrease the frictional force. When the carbon black is less than 5 pts., the wear resistance deteriorates and when larger than 20 pts., the rubber hardness becomes high, so that the frictional force will be insufficient. When the calcium carbonate is less than 10 pts., kneading operation for the rubber composition becomes inferior and when larger than 30 pts., the rubber hardness becomes larger and the frictional force become insufficient.

2. Description of the Related Art In a conventional ticket-issuing printer, when preprinting / grounding ink is used, the preprinting / grounding ink and the oil in the ball bearing adhere to the transportation roller to reduce the transportation force and issue the ticket. There was a slip on one side. As a countermeasure against this, a polyamide-imide film tape is wrapped around the surface of a medium / paper conveying roller to prevent printed characters from being transferred to the medium surface by the conveying roller like a roller stamp (for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 63-63). 12598
No. 9). However, since the transfer prevention tape was wound around, the frictional force was weakened and a stable feeding force could not be obtained.

As described above, in the related art, in order to prevent the pre-printing / grounding ink and the oil in the ball bearing from being transferred to the surface of the medium, the transfer prevention tape is wound around the surface of the medium. The frictional force (grip force) is weak, it is difficult to obtain stable conveyance, peeling is likely to occur, and a tape winding operation is required, which causes a problem in productivity. An object of the present invention is to solve such a conventional problem, prevent the printed characters from being transferred, and prevent the conveyance force from being reduced by the influence of the preprinting ink, and the conveyance force from being reduced by the influence of the follower roller member oil. Another object of the present invention is to provide a printing apparatus which prevents a printing position shift and a magnetic recording position shift due to a medium transport slip and which does not require cleaning of a transport roller.

In order to achieve the above object, in the printing apparatus of the present invention, natural rubber or synthetic rubber 1 is used.
It is characterized in that 5 to 20 parts of carbon black, 10 to 30 parts of calcium carbonate, and a rubber member made of a flowable rubber composition containing no plasticizer are used as a conveying roller in 00 parts. . The unit of parts is
It is a weight ratio. In the present invention, the influence of the pre-printing ink, the influence of the oil of the follower roller member, the initial frictional force with the medium (grip force), and the frictional force after passing the paper (grip force) rubber material with little change. , EPDM system / CR system
It was developed as a result of various studies on NBR type, plasticizer content, filler content and the like. In this case, even if a small amount of the plasticizer was added, the plasticizer melts the preprinting ink and redeposits on the roller to reduce the frictional force, so the content of the plasticizer was set to 0 part. Also, carbon black 5
If it is less than 10 parts, the abrasion resistance is inferior, while if it is more than 20 parts, the rubber hardness becomes high and the frictional force becomes insufficient. Therefore, carbon black was added between 5 parts and 20 parts. When the amount of calcium carbonate is 10 parts or less, the kneading workability of the rubber composition is inferior. On the other hand, when the amount of calcium carbonate is 30 parts or more, the rubber hardness becomes high and the frictional force becomes insufficient. Was between 10 and 30 parts.
The above are the test results including the confirmation of the actual machine.

In general, a metal roller can be considered as a roller that is not affected by the pre-printing ink or the oil of the follower roller member, but the metal roller has a low frictional force (grip force), and the frictional force (grip force) as a conveyance performance is low. Power) cannot be obtained. Further, the grindstone roller has a problem in that the surface of the medium is scraped, a sensor stain failure due to the generation of paper dust and a magnetic recording failure are induced, and the cost is high and the productivity is poor. Therefore, in the present invention, it was judged that a roller made of a rubber material is suitable for obtaining a frictional force (grip force) from the viewpoint of performance, price and simple structure, and this is adopted. By incorporating the rubber roller developed in the present invention into the device,
Since the frictional force (grip force) is high from the initial state and the frictional force (grip force) is hardly reduced for a long period of time, both printing accuracy and magnetic recording accuracy are high, and stable medium conveyance is possible. In addition, the sensor contamination failure and the magnetic recording failure due to the generation of paper dust do not occur. Further, it was found that the reduction in frictional force (grip force) was extremely small in the paper passing test, so that the maintenance interval such as cleaning of the rubber roller and replacement of the rubber roller can be significantly extended. In this way, it was confirmed by the actual machine test that the rubber material is the most suitable for the medium paper to be handled and the follower roller member having the bearing oil.

[0008] When the issued ticket is canceled, the canceled ticket inserting section 18
When a ticket to be canceled is inserted, the ticket is sandwiched between the conveying roller 4 and the bowl bearing 5 and sucked into the apparatus, and is canceled by the write magnetic head 12 and the read magnetic head 13. The canceled ticket is printed in red by the thermal head 7 in the red ribbon cassette 10 described above, and then is sandwiched between the transport roller 4 and the bowl bearing 5 and discharged to the stacker unit 17. By the way, at the time of ticket issuing or cancellation, the print medium paper 1 and the print medium card 19 are sandwiched between the transport roller 4 and the bowl bearing 5 and transported. At this time, the copy-forgery-inhibited pattern / pre-printed ink printed on the surface of the print medium paper 1 directly contacts the magnetic head roller 20, and contacts the transport roller 4 indirectly after contacting the bowl bearing 5. By this operation, the tint block / pre-printing ink adheres to the surface of the transport roller 4 and the surface of the magnetic head roller 20, which causes a reduction in the transport force. Further, the transport roller 4 and the bowl bearing 5 are always in contact with each other,
The rotation of the bowl bearing 5 causes the oil in the bowl bearing 5 to ooze out and adhere to the surface of the conveying roller 4 to reduce the conveying force. Therefore, the present invention is characterized in that a print medium is conveyed by being sandwiched between an elastic member using a rubber member to which oil is hard to adhere and a magnetic head. Also,
Instead of the elastic member, metal or grindstone may be attached to the surface of the roller.
