ラテンによって二つの保護カバーを開いてサーマルヘッ
ドとプラテンとの間にインクリボンおよび印字用紙を挟
持して印字可能とし、リボンカセットをプリンタから取
外したときは保護カバーを元の状態に戻してインクリボ
ンをカセットカバーのなかに密封した状態とすることに
より、外部の埃等がインクリボンに付着するのを防止で
きるという効果があり、従って印字品質の悪化を防止で
