Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the squeaking sound which is generated in the contact parts on the surfaces of the interior parts of automobiles by adding urethane particles which are spherical and/or massive and have an average grain size within a specific range to a resin for an acryl-vinyl chloride based coating material in a range of specific weight %. CONSTITUTION: This surface treating agent is prepd. by incorporating the spherical and/or massive urethane particles having the average grain size within the range of 1 to 50μm in the range of 2 to 60wt.% as solid content into the resin for the acryl- vinyl chloride based coating material. The average grain size of the urethane particles is preferably in the range of 1 to 50μm and more particularly preferably in the range of 5 to 30μm. The urethane particles settle in coating films and ruggedness is no longer formed on the surfaces if the average grain size is below 1μm. The loss of a matte effect and the degradation in friction characteristic are resulted. The thickness of the surface treating agent is about 30μm and, therefore, the degradation in the wear resistance is resulted if, conversely, the average grain size exceeds 50μm. The shape of the urethane particles is particularly truly spherical and the content of the urethane particles is more particularly preferably in the range of 10 to 60wt.% as solid content.

However, in the conventional measures for sticking a non-woven fabric to the contact portion on the surface of the interior part, it is difficult to mechanize because of the fine work, and the manpower is large and the cost is high. There was a drawback.
Also, at the contact part of the door trim end and the instrument side or seat side, it is not visible when the door is closed, so there is no problem in appearance quality, but it is visible when the door is open, so apply non-woven fabric. There was a drawback that the appearance quality was inferior.

[0006] However, these methods are methods in which a part is molded in a part where a sound is generated and then an inhibitor is applied to a contact part on the surface of the interior part as a post-treatment, so that automation is possible, but newly. There is a drawback that a coating process is required. Further, since these methods are intended to prevent only the squeaking noise, they have a drawback that they deteriorate the appearance quality and cannot be applied to a noticeable part.

Further, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-156206 discloses a coating agent containing urethane fine particles in a urethane resin. However, this urethane-based paint has a drawback that it is higher in cost than the acrylic-based paint and that it is inferior to the acrylic-based paint in terms of a single sound generated when a contacting component slides out.

First, the concept for reducing the squeaking noise in the present invention will be described below. The sounds generated in the vehicle interior can be roughly classified into two types. One is a single sound that is generated when the parts start to slide, and the other is a continuous sound that is generated by steady vibration while the vehicle is running. The former single sound is generated when the interior parts are impacted when starting or when climbing over a step, and the latter continuous sound can occur continuously and frequently while the vehicle is running depending on the road surface condition. The present invention has been made in view of the frequency of occurrence and the degree of discomfort felt by an occupant, and the object thereof is to reduce the continuous sound generated by the latter steady vibration.
Further, as described above, the single sound generated when the parts start to slide can be improved by using the acrylic-vinyl chloride based paint as the base paint. FIG. 1 shows an outline of the friction test by the reciprocating motion used in the test example. As shown in Figure 1,
When a test of sliding the test object 2 on the test object 1 is performed, the coefficient of friction between two objects generally fluctuates over time as shown in FIG.

It is effective to reduce the difference between the static friction coefficient and the dynamic friction coefficient for a single sound, but in order to prevent the sound generated by the continuous micro vibration, the variation of the dynamic friction coefficient (μd) is required. It is more effective to reduce the width.

For this reason, the present inventors have added various fine particles other than silica to the acrylic-vinyl chloride-based paint and measured the width of the dynamic friction coefficient. As a result, the average particle diameter is 1 to 50 μm.
By containing spherical and / or lump-shaped urethane particles in the range of 2 to 60% by weight as a solid content, it becomes possible to reduce the width of the dynamic friction coefficient, and as a result, the effect of preventing squeaking noises. Found.

In the present invention, the average particle size of the urethane particles is preferably in the range of 1 to 50 μm, particularly 5 to 30 μm. If the average particle size is less than 1 μm, the urethane particles settle in the coating film and the unevenness is not formed on the surface, the matte effect is lost, and the friction characteristics are deteriorated.
On the contrary, when the thickness exceeds 50 μm, the thickness of the surface treatment agent is 30 μm.
Since it is about m, abrasion resistance is reduced.

The shape of the urethane particles is required to be spherical and / or massive in order to obtain the effects of the present invention.
It is particularly preferable that the shape is true spherical. The content of urethane particles is in the range of 2 to 60% by weight as a solid content, especially 10 to 6
It is preferably in the range of 0% by weight. If the content is less than 2% by weight, the noise preventing effect is insufficient and the matting effect is also lost. On the other hand, if it exceeds 60% by weight, it becomes impossible to form a coating film, the abrasion resistance of the coating film decreases, and the cost increases.

The resin and / or rubber type fine particles having an average particle size of 1 to 8 μm have neither a squeaking noise preventing effect nor a matting effect even if they are added alone, but the average particle size is 5 to 50 μm.
A matting effect can be exhibited by combining with spherical urethane particles in the range of m. Further, unlike a commonly used matting agent such as silica, the squeaking noise preventing property does not deteriorate.

Next, the operation of the present invention will be described. Currently used surface-treating agents have spherical and / or lumpy urethane particles having an average particle size in the range of 1 to 50 μm as solid content of 2
By adding in the range of up to 60% by weight, it is possible to prevent the squeaking noise generated by the steady vibration when the vehicle is running. This is because, by adding spherical soft particles, since smooth irregularities are formed on the surface of the coating film, stress concentration is less likely to occur at the contact surface, and it is less likely that a catch with the mating material surface will occur. Conceivable.

Since this coating layer is formed in the sheet surface treatment process which is currently performed, it is not necessary to introduce a new process, and the conventional non-woven fabric attaching process can be omitted. Furthermore, since the squeaking noise preventing function is added to the currently used surface treatment agent, the appearance quality is not impaired, so that it can also be applied to a portion that is visible to the human eye. In addition, since a coating layer is formed on the entire seat, squeaking noises of instrument panels, door trims, pillar garnishes, sun visors, seat leathers, etc. and the parts assembled with them, and parts that interfere with them are also reduced. can do.

Test Results In order to compare the squeaking noise preventing effect of each surface treatment agent obtained in Examples 1 to 5 and Comparative Examples 1 to 8, the current surface untreated P
Each surface treatment agent was applied to the VC sheet and the coating film was cured to prepare a test sheet. A general PVC sheet for automobile interiors was used as the mating material of the sheet thus obtained, and a friction test by reciprocating motion was performed to evaluate the friction characteristics and confirm whether or not a squeaking noise was generated. Further, the 60-degree surface glossiness after coating was measured with a gloss meter. Table 1 shows the results.

As shown in Table 1, the paints obtained in the examples did not generate any noise, and the width of the coefficient of dynamic friction was as small as the non-woven fabric currently used as a measure against squeaking noise.
It can be seen that it has a squeaking noise prevention effect. In addition, a matting effect was also confirmed. On the other hand, the paint obtained in Comparative Example 1 is effective against squeaking noises, but lacks in matting effect and is inferior in marketability. In Comparative Examples 2 to 4 and 6, although the matting effect is imparted, the range of the dynamic friction coefficient becomes large and a squeaking noise is generated. Comparative Example 5 also has a small matte degree.

Test Results In order to compare the squeaking noise preventing effects of the surface treating agents of Examples 6 to 22 and Comparative Examples 9 to 18, the current surface-untreated PVC is used.
Each surface treatment agent was applied to the sheet and the coating film was cured to prepare a test sheet. The results are shown in Table 2.

As shown in Table 2, the paints obtained in the examples did not generate any sound, and the width of the dynamic friction coefficient was as small as that of the non-woven fabric which is currently used for the squeaking noise control. I know that there is. A matting effect was also confirmed. On the other hand, the paints obtained in Comparative Examples 9 and 12 are effective against the squeaking noise, but have no matte effect and are inferior in commercial properties. The paints obtained in Comparative Examples 10 and 18 have a matte effect, but the range of the dynamic friction coefficient is large and a squeaking noise is generated. Comparative Example 13 has a small matte degree.

Further, since the surface treatment agent of the present invention can be applied to the entire surface of the raw sheet in the surface treatment step which is currently performed, the introduction of a new step and the attachment of the non-woven fabric become unnecessary, and Simplification is achieved. Furthermore,
The effect that it can be applied to parts that are noticeable such as the door trim and the instrument end or the seat side is obtained. In addition, the characteristic that the acrylic-vinyl chloride-based coating resin is superior to the urethane resin even in the case of a single tone was maintained even when such urethane beads were added.
