Abstract

PURPOSE: To move a movable plate in parallel to a fixed plate to perform mold clamping, in the mold clamping device of an injection molding machine, by providing a movable plate parallelism keeping mechanism between the fixed plate and the movable plate. CONSTITUTION: In a mold clamping process, pressure oil acts on mold clamping cylinders 6, 7 and a movable plate 2 advances until both molds 16, 17 are brought to a contact state to form a mold cavity to perform mold clamping.
