Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize the easy and sure detection of needle thread and bobbin thread breakage by utilizing a mechanism containing an oscillating lever provided in the middle of a needle thread guide from a needle thread corn to a sewing machine, replacing the advancing state of the needle thread after the needle thread is periodically loosened with the movement of the oscillating lever, and measuring it. CONSTITUTION:In an industrial sewing machine, a fixed shaft 3 is mounted on frames 11 on both ends, and oscillating levers manufactured from a wire and the like are mounted rotatably around the fixed shaft 3 by the number of needle threads. A light shielding plate 8 is mounted on the middle part of each oscillating lever 2, and the oscillating state of the oscillating lever 2 is detected by interrupting the optical paths of photoelectric sensors 9, 10 by the light shielding plate 8. After the needle thread is periodically loosened by a fixed quantity at the start of the period, the advancing state of the needle thread thereafter is replaced with the motion of the oscillating lever 2 and measured, a needle thread breakage is judged when the advancing state of the needle thread is O, and a bobbin thread breakage is judged when it is delayed by a fixed quantity or more, compared with the normal advancing state.

(Prior art) One that detects light thread breakage by transmitting light or laser light directly to the upper thread, one that determines upper thread breakage from the movement of the lever that is linked to the movement of the sewing machine needle, and rotation to the upper thread path. It is known that a body is provided and a thread break is detected from the rotational movement of the body.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) These prior arts can detect upper thread breakage but are difficult to detect lower thread breakage. Further, in a multi-needle industrial sewing machine, not only is the distance between the threads small and it is difficult to attach a detection instrument due to its structure, but also many sensors are required, which tends to be expensive. In addition, there were many troubles due to malfunction of detection.

(Means for Solving Problems) In order to solve the above problems of the conventional device, the yarn breakage detecting device according to the present invention has the following configuration. In the middle of the needle thread path from the needle thread cone to the industrial sewing machine, a light rocking lever (2) made of wire or the like rotatable about the fixed shaft (3) is provided, and the needle thread is guided by the thread path guide rod (4). After passing through the loop at the tip of the rocking lever (2), it is fed to the industrial sewing machine through the space between the thread guide rods (5) and (6). After separately forcibly swinging the swing lever (2) from the position A to the position B, the swing lever (2) is provided with a swing drive mechanism (12) that quickly returns to the original position.

(Operation) When the rocking drive mechanism (12) is operated at the beginning of each cycle to rock the rocking lever (2) from the position A to the position B, the needle thread is forcibly driven. When the rocking mechanism is loosened and then the rocking mechanism is quickly returned, the rocking lever (2) moves upward from the position B to the position A in accordance with the advance of the needle thread of the sewing machine, and moves to the position A until the next cycle. Wait at. Now, when needle thread breakage occurs, the rocking lever (2) rocked to the position B at the beginning of the cycle does not move up to B
Stays in the position. An upper thread breakage detection photoelectric sensor (9) is installed to detect the presence of the swing lever (2) at the position B, and a light shield plate (8) is attached to the swing lever (2) to ensure the detection. Is attached. In addition, a photoelectric sensor (1
0) is provided. When the bobbin thread breakage occurs, the upper thread does not get entangled with the bobbin thread, and thus the advance becomes slower than that of a normal thread. Therefore, the swing lever (2) with the bobbin thread breakage will pass after a normal thread passes through the optical axis of the photoelectric sensor (10) and then with a delay. This delay can be measured to detect the bobbin thread breakage.

(Effects of the Invention) With the yarn breakage detection device according to the present invention, the behavior of the upper thread can be replaced with the movement of the swing lever (2) for observation, so that malfunctions due to vibration, wind, etc. can be avoided, and Since the progress of the upper thread can be measured accurately,
Not only the upper thread breakage but also the lower thread breakage can be detected from the delay in the advance of the upper thread. In the case of a multi-needle sewing machine that uses a large number of needle threads,
By swinging multiple swing levers at the same time, it is possible to detect upper thread breakage and lower thread breakage with two photoelectric sensors, which makes it less expensive, and there are no malfunctions due to sensor adjustments due to the provision of multiple sensors, and more detection is possible. Accuracy is improved.
In addition, since the progress of a plurality of needle threads can be directly observed with the eyes, it contributes to the improvement of the sewing condition.
