え、一般に図4及び図5に示すものが公知である。図に
おいて、1は商品収納室に設置される図示しない冷却ユ
ニットと共に冷凍装置を構成する凝縮ユニットで、自動
販売機の本体ケースの下部かつ前記商品収納室の下方
に、前面板に通気孔を設けた機械室を区画形成し、ここ
に設置される。前記凝縮ユニット1は前記機械室底板に
固定された基台11上に前記通気孔に面して凝縮器1
2、次いで後方へ一列に凝縮器冷却用ファン13、圧縮
機14、排気ファン15が配設される。3は凝縮ユニッ
ト1の傍に設置されるドレン処理装置で、前記機械室の
底板に固定される置台31、この置台31に載せて設置
されるドレン皿32を備える。このドレン皿32に前記
商品収納室で発生したドレンを案内するドレンパイプ3
3が接続され皿内に開口する。また凝縮器12と圧縮機
14とを結ぶ冷媒配管の一部を引き出しコイル状に形成
される蒸発パイプ34が設置され、かつこの蒸発パイプ
34に絡ませるように蒸発マット35が設けられる。2. 室のドレンがドレンパイプ33を介してドレン皿34に
捕集される。そしてこのドレンを、蒸発パイプ34を流
れるホットガスによって加熱し、ドレン皿から、及びド
レンを蒸発マット35に吸収させ蒸発表面積の大きい蒸

ドレン皿32及び蒸発マット35から蒸発するとともに
この蒸気はドレン皿32上方や蒸発マット35周囲に淀
むことなく前記エアガイド37に案内される外気によっ
て吹き払われ排出される。従ってドレン皿32及び蒸発
マット35からのドレンの蒸発が継続して活撥に行われ
従来に比べ格段に多量のドレンが蒸発処理される。尚圧
縮機14は凝縮器12に比べ略半分の高さであり凝縮器
12の下半分を通り送り出された外気によって従来と変

で、凝縮器から送り出された外気の一部によって、ドレ
ン皿上方及び蒸発マット周辺の蒸気を吹き払われ、蒸発
パイプによるドレンの蒸発が継続して活撥に行われる。
しかして蒸発皿及び蒸発パイプの容量を大きくすること
なく従来に比べ格段に多量のドレンを蒸発させ処理する
