従来の技術 ポンプ用の屋外カバーには電動機の過熱を防止するため
に換気孔が設けられている。例えば第３図に示す従来の
構成ではカバー１の側面に換気孔２が設けられている。
又第４図に示す従来構造では、屋外カバー１は天面は別
の部材３で天面カバーを形成している。又第３図と同様

れば製品コストが高価となるため採用することはできな

を得ようとするもので、屋外カバーの天面を構成する部
材の隅角部分に、別体に換気用の部材を取り付けた屋外

効果 この考案は前記のような構成であって、天面カバーとな
る部材は折り曲げで成形し、隅角部には、通気孔を有
し、球面形状の別部材をプレス等の方法で成形したもの
を取り付けることにより、カバーの上方の最も効果的な
位置に換気用の部材を設けることができ、天面カバーの
隅角部を球面形状にして商品価値の向上とカバー強度の
強化とを図ることができ、しかも安価に製作しうるポン
