Conventionally, large-sized membrane modules have been widely used because they can maintain high volume efficiency of membrane area per unit volume. In addition, in order to simplify the handling of the membrane module, the cylindrical body with the separation membrane inserted and the caps to be attached to both ends of the membrane module are configured to be attached when they are used as separate parts. Often screwed. However, in this case, when the separation membrane module is large, it is not easy to screw the cylinder into the cap due to the weight of the cylinder into which the separation membrane is inserted. Especially, since the cap part is fixed to the device while it is still attached to the device, and only the cylindrical body with the separation membrane inserted is used for replacement, it is necessary for troubles during operation, periodic inspection, cleaning, etc. When exchanging the cylindrical body, the cylindrical body must be removed from the installed device or pipe and a new mounting operation must be performed. Such work is not easy at a work site where the operation space is limited. Therefore, in order to solve such a problem, the installation, piping, connection, etc. of the separation membrane module can be easily performed, and
There is a strong demand for the development of a separation membrane module that is highly reliable and safe for its use.

As the separation membrane to be inserted into the cylindrical body used in the separation membrane module of the present invention, a hollow fiber type, a flat membrane type, a spiral wound type, a tube type, a pleated type, a plate & frame type, etc. can be used depending on its use. Can be appropriately selected. Among them, the hollow fiber membrane module is particularly preferable because of its large membrane area per unit area, its compactness, and its small priming volume. The separation membrane is inserted into the cylindrical body, and after centrifugally adhering both ends of the cylindrical body by a centrifugal sealing device, the sealing portion is cut to form an opening portion of the separation membrane.

The cap according to the present invention is a component of the separation membrane module which is connected to both ends of the resin-sealed portion of the cylindrical body having the separation membrane inserted therein. Is connected so as not to leak to the other, or is connected as a passage for feeding the undiluted solution to the hollow fiber membrane or collecting the filtrate from the hollow fiber membrane,
In some cases, it also functions as a connecting portion between other separation membrane modules. Of the caps connected to both ends of the cylindrical body, at least one of the caps has a shape of an outer diameter end surface that is substantially the same as the outer diameter of the end surface of the cylindrical body to be connected, and it is preferable that the inside has a hemispherical shape and has a nozzle. The reason why the outer diameter of the end face is approximately the same is to facilitate the connection between the cap and the cylindrical body, and the reason that the inner side is to be hemispherical is to reduce the dead space of the water collecting portion of the separation membrane module. Further, the nozzle is for a passage for supplying raw water to the separation membrane or for collecting the filtrate filtered by the separation membrane. The inside of the cap may be a hemispherical shape, and its outer shape is shown in FIG.
The shape may be a hemispherical shape fitted into the pipe as shown in -1, or a hemispherical shape as shown in FIG. 2-2.
In addition, the cap has a protruding portion at the connection portion with the cylindrical body,
Alternatively, the projecting portion may have a structure that expands in a taper shape toward the end portion, and may further spread in a taper shape in two steps. The connecting surface between the cap and the cylindrical body may form a flat surface, but when the cap has a protruding portion at the end, it is preferable that the connecting surface on the cap side has a groove. This is because the cap and the cylindrical body can be connected in a liquid-tight manner by inserting the packing into the groove portion of the cap-side connecting surface when fixing the cylindrical body and the cap with the protruding portion interposed therebetween. The groove may be a dovetail groove or a dovetail groove, but a dovetail groove is particularly preferable because it has an effect of preventing the packing from coming off. The cap material may be stainless steel, FRP, polysulfone, PVC, PP, PE, polycarbonate, acrylic resin, fluorine group-containing resin, etc., but from the viewpoint of durability, chemical resistance, strength, etc. Stainless steel is particularly preferable.

The connection between the cylinder and the cap according to the present invention is conventional when the connection between the cylinder and the cap is continuous with substantially the same outer shape as shown in FIG. Pipe connectors, such as strab clamps and strab couplings (both from Showbond Chemical Co., Ltd.)
Etc. can be used for connection. Further, as shown in FIG. 2B, when the vicinity of the connecting portion between the cylindrical body and the cap has a protruding portion, it can be fixed by the connecting tool via the protruding portion. As such, for example, V band coupling (manufactured by Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd.) or the like can be used for connection.

The connecting tool via the protruding portion according to the present invention sandwiches and fixes the ring-shaped rubber-like elastic body as shown in FIG. 3-1 and the protruding portion as shown in FIG. 3-2. It is a cylindrical connector including a fastener. First, the connecting parts are liquid-tightly covered with a ring-shaped rubber-like elastic body on the protruding parts of the cylindrical body and the cap, and the protruding parts are sandwiched from outside with a fastener to connect the cylindrical body and the cap. Fix it. If the shape of the rubber-like elastic body 7 is U-shaped as shown in FIG. 4, the liquid-tightness is good even when a fastener is used, and if the end portion of the rubber-like elastic body 7 is wound inward. ,
The liquid tightness can be further improved. Note that the rubber-like elastic body need not cover the entire protruding portion as shown in FIG. 5, and the contact portion with the protruding portion may have an annular rib structure or a wavy annular rib structure. As shown in FIG. 3-2, the fastener 6 has two semi-circles with a hinge structure or bolt fastening at both ends, and the free end can be secured with a fastener such as a bolt. When the external bend of the connected cylindrical body is small, tightening the fastener with a bolt reduces the overall diameter of the cylindrical connector, and the inner rubber-like elastic body is pushed in to make the diameter of the rubber-like elastic body smaller. It can be brought into close contact with the outer diameter of the cylindrical body by contracting a little. It should be noted that the cylindrical body connecting tool according to the present invention is used for connecting the cylindrical body and the cap when both the cylindrical body and the cap have a protruding portion in the vicinity of the connecting portion. It can also be used to connect two cylinders having

In the separation membrane module according to the present invention, if only the cap portion is fixed to the membrane separation device, only the cylindrical body in which the separation membrane is inserted can be exchanged, and the separation membrane is not damaged during the membrane separation. Even if it occurs, the separation membrane module can be easily repaired by exchanging the cylindrical body, and the work efficiency is good.
Further, when the cap has a nozzle projecting to the outside for the entrance / exit of permeated water or raw water, it may have a bellows portion upstream of the nozzle. The bellows may be integrated with the cap, but may be formed by connecting the bellows to the tip of the nozzle with a flange or the like. This is because if the upstream side of the bellows portion is fixed to the membrane separation device, the degree of freedom in moving the cap through the bellows portion is increased, and the connection between the cylindrical body and the cap is facilitated. As the bellows, Toflex (trade name) manufactured by Tozen Sangyo Co., Ltd. can be used.
