Conventionally, as snow-melting agents, carbon or powders containing carbon, calcium carbonate, quicklime powder, inorganic snow-melting agents such as sodium chloride, calcium chloride and other metal oxides, urea, etc. are well known. It has been used since ancient times. Among these, inorganic snow-melting agents such as calcium carbonate, quick lime, sodium chloride, and calcium chloride have a remarkable snow-melting effect to some extent, but when sprayed on a transportation network such as a road, corrosion to the vehicle body is significant, and further When using an inorganic snow-melting agent for snow-melting in agricultural land, etc., there is a possibility that residual components after snow-melting may have an adverse effect on agricultural products. .

Carbon or a powder containing carbon is sprayed as a black endothermic material on agricultural land, golf course, etc., but its snow melting speed is significantly slower than that of an inorganic snow melting agent such as calcium chloride. Urea does not damage agricultural crops, etc., but has less snow-melting effect than inorganic snow-melting agents, and cannot provide satisfactory snow-melting effect.

The concentration of the ammonium salt in the snow melting agent composition of the present invention is 10 to 300 with respect to 100 parts by weight of urea.
Parts by weight, preferably 20 to 200 parts by weight. When the amount of ammonium salt is 10 parts or less with respect to 100 parts by weight of urea, the snow melting effect is reduced, and further, adverse effects such as an increase in corrosiveness with respect to metals occur. Even if the amount is 300 parts by weight or more, the snow melting effect is not improved, and the effect of reducing the corrosiveness against metals is eliminated, which is not economically advantageous.

Examples 6 to 10 and Comparative Examples 4 to 6 Table 2 shows the results of a corrosion test of the snow melting agent composition and the snow melting agent of the present invention on carbon steel. In the steel corrosion test, a carbon steel piece (SS-41, 18 × 50 × 2.8 mm) whose surface has been polished is completely immersed in a snow melting agent solution prepared to have a predetermined concentration, and kept at room temperature (25 ° C.) for 6 days. After that, the weight loss (%) of the carbon steel was measured.

As shown in the examples, the snow-melting agent composition of the present invention has a lower freezing temperature and higher anti-freezing effect than urea used as a snow-melting agent. In addition to the freezing temperature, the snow melting effect is related to physical properties such as snow temperature (ice temperature), deliquescent, and heat of melting, and is difficult to quantitatively evaluate because it is affected by the weather conditions during use. Since the ammonium salt used in the snow melting agent composition of the present invention has a large deliquescent property, the snow melting effect in the actual snow melting experiment in Niigata has the same effect as calcium chloride. Further, the snow melting agent composition of the present invention has almost no corrosiveness to metals and can be used extremely safely in any place.
