PURPOSE:To maintain comfortableness by vertically dividing cold and warm winds generated when an air conditioner dehumidifies, and feeding them into a room. CONSTITUTION:An air filter 8, an indoor heat exchanger 9 having upper and lower heat exchanging units 9a, 9b and a blower 10 are provided in an air passage 7 for coupling a suction port 5 of an indoor unit to a diffuser 6. Wind direction plates 12a, 12b for vertically regulating an air flow to a room are provided in the diffuser 6. Since the unit 9a is used as a condenser and the unit 9b is used as an evaporator in a dehumidifying operation, the unit 9a generates warm air, and the unit 9b generates cold air. In order to supply the cold air upward and the warm air downward in the room, a partition 11 for partitioning the passage 7 longitudinally (vertically) is provided in the passage 7 under the blower 10.

出されるが、室内への風向は吹出口26に設けられた風向
板31によって上下に調節されるようになっている。室内
熱交換器29は上部を空気通路27の後方に傾斜させた上部
熱交換器29aと、同上部熱交換器29aの下部に連設さ
れ、ほぼ垂直に立設された下部熱交換器29bとからなっ
ており、除湿運転時には上部熱交換器29aを凝縮器(再
熱器)とし、下部熱交換器29bを蒸発器として使用する
ようになっている。

交換器9は上部を空気通路7の後方に傾斜させた上部熱
交換器9aと、同上部熱交換器9aの下部に連設され、
ほぼ垂直に立設された下部熱交換器9bとからなってお
り、冷房運転時には両者共に蒸発器として使用され、暖
房運転時には両者共に凝縮器として使用されるが、除湿
運転時には上部熱交換器9aを凝縮器(再熱器)とし、
下部熱交換器9bを蒸発器として使用するようになって
いる。

時および暖房運転時の風向制御を有利に行うことができ
