着部と、 前記一対のローラーの少なくとも一方に作動し、押圧力
が付与された場合に前記一対のローラーを圧接状態と
し、押圧力が付与されない場合に前記一対のローラーの
圧接状態を解除する作動機構と、 この作動機構に押圧力を付与する加圧部材を設けるとと
もに前記画像記録部及び定着部を覆う開閉可能な蓋体と
を備えた画像記録装置において、 前記加圧部材は、前記蓋体閉鎖時に前記作動機構に押圧
力を付与する押圧位置と前記作動機構に押圧力を付与し
ない押圧解除位置との位置を選択的に切り換え可能に構
成したことを特徴とする画像記録装置。
