Abstract

PURPOSE:To output sound also simultaneously with the output of a video at the time of resetting a muting state by reducing the disappearance level of a synchronizing signal at the time of no signal or the existence of electric field strength unstabilizing synchronism. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal output pulse and a synchronizing signal are applied to an IC 1 for synchronously separating a video, a signal outputted from a lock detection circuit detecting the phases of the horizontal output pulse and the synchronizing signal is integrated by a capacitor 2, a DC voltage signal is divided by resistors 3, 4, and the voltage-divided signal is applied to an MPU 5 as information indiating the existence of a signal for channel selection. When the voltage divided by the resistors 3, 4 is more than a certain threshold determined by the MPU 5, the sound volume controlling voltage of the MPU 5 is turned to zero and signal output from a sound volume control 6 is interruted to mute sound. Since the MPU 5 controls video output also, sound volume can be controlled so that sound is outputted synchronously with the output of a video signal.

2. Description of the Related Art A circuit does not have a configuration in which a signal is smoothly turned on and off when the audio signal is muted to smoothly eliminate the signal, and when the mute is released, the signal is smoothly restored. In Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2-55427 proposed as a prior art, the time constant is switched, but this is not for eliminating the shock noise. Further, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 61-265978, since a signal is dropped to the ground by the transistor 8, a problematic shock sound is produced. In this way, the conventional audio mute device uses a transistor to lower the DC voltage for volume control and to drop the signal itself, so due to the time constant, a shock sound during operation or sound when releasing mute is slightly generated. There was a defect such as delay.

FIG. 2 shows an example of a circuit configuration of a conventional audio mute device. The horizontal output pulse and the sync signal are applied to the IC for video and sync separation, and the phase of the horizontal output pulse and the sync signal is detected to detect whether the magnitude of the sync signal exceeds a certain value during a certain period of the horizontal pulse. The signal of the lock detecting circuit is added to the MPU (microprocessor unit) 5 as the information on the presence / absence of the signal when the signal integrated by the capacitor 2 and converted into the DC voltage is selected. Resistance 3, 4
Is the load impedance of the lock detection circuit of the video sync separation 1 and also adjusts the input voltage to the MPU 5. For audio mute, the output signal of the lock detection circuit of the video sync separation 1 is impedance-converted by the transistor 11 and the volume control voltage of the MPU 5 in addition to the transistor 17 is lowered to eliminate the speaker output. The resistor 12 is an emitter resistor of the emitter follower, and the resistors 13 and 16 are voltage dividing resistors for appropriately turning on and off the transistor 17. 14 is a power supply. This is because the electrolytic capacitor 15 has a time constant in order to prevent a shock sound from being output from the speaker 8 when the transistor 17 is turned on abruptly. Therefore, even if the mute is released, the sound is output with a slight delay. The volume control 6 changes the output amplitude of the audio signal according to the voltage of the MPU 5, and the audio is output from the speaker 8 in addition to the power amplifier 7 in the next stage.

However, in the above configuration, the number of parts in the circuit configuration is large and the sound is output later than the video. It is an object of the present invention to reduce the number of parts, and at the same time, to make it possible to output a shock sound at the time of operation of audio mute, and to output audio at the same time as video when releasing mute.

I'm sending it to U. Since the output signal for volume control is also included in the MPU, when there is no signal or when the electric field strength is such that the synchronization becomes unstable, the synchronization signal also disappears or the size decreases. Cancel the muted sound in synchronization with the output of.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An audio mute device according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention.
Horizontal output pulse and sync signal are video and I for sync separation
The signal of the lock detection circuit, which is added to C1 and detects the phase of the horizontal output pulse and the synchronizing signal, is integrated by the capacitor 2 and the signal converted into the DC voltage is divided by the resistors 3 and 4, and the presence or absence of the signal at the time of tuning is detected. It is added to the MPU 5 as information. When the voltage divided by the resistors 3 and 4 exceeds a certain threshold value determined by the MPU 5, the sound volume control voltage of the MPU 5 is set to zero and the signal output of the sound volume control 6 is eliminated to mute the sound. Further, since the MPU 5 also controls the output of the video, the volume can be controlled so that the audio is output in synchronization with the output of the video signal. By smoothly changing the voltage applied to the volume control 6 with the resistor 9 and the electrolytic capacitor 10, the shock sound generated when the audio signal is suddenly interrupted or output is eliminated. Further, when it is desired to reduce the output by 20 dB instead of eliminating the output, the output voltage of the MPU 5 may be set to an appropriate value instead of zero.
