Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent forgery of printed matters by randomly refracting a print image on a surface of a sheet printed matter so as to deform and derange the actual image when it is copied by a copying machine and easily discriminate it as a copied matter. CONSTITUTION:A surface 1a of a bill 1 is laminated with a transparent information sheet 2a having an irregularity on its surface for randomly refracting a printed image 4 by a transparent resin adhesive. When it is copied by a copying machine, the actual image 4 on the surface 1a of the bill 1 is refracted by a transparent resin layer 2 of the transparent resin sheet 2a, so that the actual image 4 is copied as a deformed image 4a. Thus, the copied matter becomes different from the actual image 4, so that the forged copied matter can be easily discriminated. Even when somebody tries to peel the transparent resin sheet from the image face on the sheet surface in order to print the actual image correctly, it can not be peeled without damage.

2. Description of the Related Art As a method for preventing counterfeiting of sheet-like printed matter such as banknotes and certificates, a method of preventing counterfeiting by using an extremely sophisticated printing technique has been used so far. . However, in the present situation where high-level printing technology is easily available, it is easily manufactured in large quantities by the counterfeit printing machine. In particular, in recent years, the performance of color copying machines has been remarkably improved, and cash vouchers such as banknotes, certificates, stamps, and entrance tickets are very easily and easily copied and manufactured. For this reason, it has been proposed that a copying machine maker be made to store characteristics such as banknotes in advance and collate it with this storage so that copying cannot be performed. However, since such a copying machine is extremely expensive, it is hardly popular at present.

According to the method of the present invention, light is refracted by the transparent resin layer 2 which irregularly refracts the printed image 4 on the surface 1a of the sheet-like printed matter 1 to disturb the printed actual image 4. When this is copied by a copying machine, the image 4 shown in (a) of FIG. 3 becomes (b) of FIG.
The image 4a is distorted and copied as shown in FIG. Since this distorted copy is separated from the actual copy, it can easily be seen as a copy forgery. For this reason, there is no desire to forge.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will be described with reference to the drawings showing an embodiment.
As shown in FIG. 3, a transparent resin sheet 2a having surface irregularities for irregularly refracting the printed image 4 is laminated on the surface 1a of the banknote 1 with a transparent resin adhesive. When this is copied by a copying machine, as shown in FIG.
The actual image 4a of "a" is refracted by the transparent resin layer 2 of the transparent resin sheet 2a (indicates the path of light by an arrow), and is enlarged or reduced on the reading surface K of the copying machine. The physical image 4 shown in (a) is copied as a deformed image 4a as shown in (b) of FIG. In this way, since the copy is separated from the actual image 4, it can be easily identified as a counterfeit copy. In order to print the actual image 4 accurately, the transparent resin sheet 2a is attached to the image surface 1 of the sheet surface.
Even if it is attempted to peel it from a, it cannot be peeled off without damaging it because the adhesive material has bitten into the fibers of the bill and adheres to the entire surface. If it is peeled off, the voucher will be damaged and it will become unusable. Therefore, it is completely impossible to copy the same image as the actual image 4.

As another aspect, the front surface 1a of the banknote 1
In addition, when the transparent resin layer 2 is formed by applying a harder molten transparent resin to the corrugated concavo-convex with a spatula and coating it, the transparent resin cures in the corrugated concavo-convex state. Similar to the case of the transparent resin sheet 2a due to the unevenness, the actual image 4 is refracted, deformed and disturbed, and the deformed image 4a is copied. Also transparent resin 2
Even if you try to peel off the paper from the image surface, since the transparent resin 2 bites into the fibers of the banknote and adheres to the entire surface, the transparent resin sheet
It cannot be peeled off without being damaged as in the case of the belt 2a.

The transparent resin layer 2 may have a three-dimensional pattern 3 (FIG. 1), or as shown in FIG. 6, the transparent resin layer 2 may be a composite of transparent materials 2b and 2c having different refractive indexes. The transparent material 2c on the surface side may be formed to have a flat surface, or as shown in FIG. 5, the upper and lower surfaces 1a, 1a may be provided with irregular refraction surfaces 3. Further, as shown in FIG. 4, the irregular refraction surface 3 may be provided on a part 6 of the surface 1a of the sheet-like printed material 1. In this case, the identification image is provided only on a part 6 of the surface 1a of the sheet-like printed matter 1, and the part 6
Can only be identified. Furthermore, in addition to the above method, a colored resin having the same color as the specific color actually used for the transparent resin layer 2 is used. Then, the pattern of the specific color is erased in the copy.

As described above, according to the present invention, when a copy is made, the copy image 4a is copied completely different from the actual image 4 of the sheet-like printed matter 1 due to the refraction of light in the transparent resin layer 2. Easily seen as counterfeit. For this reason, even the forgery of this printed matter does not occur, the copier manufacturer can safely manufacture and sell high-performance products, and the users of the copiers can also enjoy high-performance copying.
