Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively prevent leakage of liquid from the inside by positively discharging liquid in a gap while forming a grooven a connection portion. CONSTITUTION:A groove 21 is formed on a flange 18B of a bottom plate fitting 18. A support outer cylinder which has a flange 14A is arranged on an upper portion of the bottom plate fitting 18. The flange 14A is caulked in respect to the flange 18B to fix the support outer cylinder 14 to the bottom plate fitting 18. An outer peripheral surface of an elastic body 16 is cured and fixed to the support outer cylinder 14, while an inner peripheral surface of the elastic body 16 is cured and fixed to a top plate fitting 12. Liquid is sealed in a liquid chamber 26 made up of a diaphragm 22, the top plate fitting 12 and the inner peripheral surface of the elastic body 16. In assembling, liquid is also sealed into a gap S between the support outer cylinder 14 and the bottom plate fitting 18, but is discharged through the groove 21.

2. Description of the Related Art For example, a vehicle is provided with an anti-vibration device as an engine mount between an engine which is a vibration generating part and a vehicle body which is a vibration receiving part. The vibration device absorbs the vibration and prevents the vibration from being transmitted to the vehicle body.

That is, as this anti-vibration device, a device is known in which a liquid chamber containing a pair of liquids is provided inside the main body of the anti-vibration device, and these liquid chambers are communicated with each other through a restriction passage serving as an orifice. There is. Then, when the mounted engine operates to generate vibration, a damping force is generated by viscous resistance of the liquid in the orifice that communicates these liquid chambers, the vibration is absorbed, and the transmission of the vibration is blocked. (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 61-189341).

In order to prevent the deterioration of the anti-vibration characteristics, the anti-vibration device as described above is joined by caulking the metal parts constituting the anti-vibration device in a liquid when assembling the anti-vibration device. By doing so, the liquid is filled in the liquid chamber in a state where it overflows so as to prevent air from entering the liquid chamber.

On the other hand, considering the ease of assembly, it is necessary to have a large dimensional tolerance of the components constituting the anti-vibration device. However, due to this dimensional tolerance, a slight gap portion is generated between the components, and the gap portion is left in the gap portion during assembly. Will also collect liquid.

For this reason, even if the liquid chamber does not originally have a problem in the sealing property, the liquid that has accumulated in the gap portion leaks out through the joint portion, and the liquid leaks due to a poor sealing of the liquid chamber. There was a risk that it would be judged to be present.

The elastic body is interposed between the first mounting member and the second mounting member, and the inner wall of which at least a part is formed by any of these members forms a liquid chamber in which the liquid is sealed. Has been formed. Therefore, when the vibration is transmitted from the vibration generating portion side connected to any one of the mounting members, the elastic body is deformed and a pressure change occurs in the liquid in the liquid chamber, and the vibration is damped by the elastic body and the liquid, Vibration is less likely to be transmitted to the vibration receiving portion side.

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be described. When the engine mounted on the top plate metal member 12 operates, the vibration of the engine is transmitted to the elastic body 16 via the top plate metal member 12. The elastic body 16 acts mainly as a vibration absorber, and can absorb the vibration by the vibration damping function based on the internal friction of the elastic body 16. Furthermore, the liquid in the upper liquid chamber 26A and the liquid in the lower liquid chamber 26B mutually flow through the orifice 31, and the damping effect based on the viscous resistance of the liquid flow generated in the orifice 31 can improve the vibration damping effect.

Further, since the groove for leading out the liquid sandwiched in the gap S is provided at the joining portion by the caulking process, the liquid accumulated in the gap S can be positively discharged, and the liquid can be quickly discharged. The liquid in the gap S disappears. Therefore, for example, at the time of shipment of the vibration isolation device 10 or the vibration isolation device 10
The liquid does not seep out from the gap S when the vehicle is installed in the vehicle.
