Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a structure for a box which is easy to assemble and whose projected area is significantly smaller than that of a conventional box at the time of being folded. CONSTITUTION:Long walls 2, 3 are folded at folds H, I. In this case, a short wall 4, a split bottom plate 6 connected to the long wall 2 and a split bottom plate 7 similarly connected to the short wall 5 and the long wall 3 follow corresponding to folding displacement of the long wall and the short wall by folds D, H and folds I, G, respectively. Finally the long walls 2, 3 are two-folded to be in the same size as the adjacent short walls 4, 5. Since the split bottom plates 6, 7 transit following the displacement on respective wall faces during this time, they are folded and received inside the wall face at the time of being completely folded. Thus a projected area of a folded box 1 can be in a size of a single piece of the short wall 4, 5, thereby significantly reducing the folded size compared to that of a conventional box.

6 and 7 show a conventional assembled garment box. The clothing box is usually composed of an outer box and an inner box that can be placed inside the outer box so that it can be put in and out like a chest of drawers. Of these, FIGS. 6 and 7 show the structure of the outer box. ing. The outer box 50 is formed in a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape using cardboard, cardboard or the like. As shown in FIG. 7, the outer box 50 is provided with upper and lower horizontal plates 50a and 50b and side plates 50 at the time of sale or transportation.
The inner wall surfaces of c and 50d are folded so as to be in close contact with each other. Although not shown, the inner box that can be stored in and taken out of the outer box is also folded in the same manner, and normally the folded outer box and inner box are sold as a pair of clothing boxes.

As described above, the clothing box is folded and formed into a flat plate shape so that it can be transported and sold with a reduced bulk. In this case, for example, since the horizontal plate 50a and the side plate 50c and the horizontal plates 50b and 50d are folded so as to be on the same plane, the width thereof is a width obtained by adding the width a'of the horizontal plate 50a and the height b'of the side plate 50c. The projected area of the folded outer box is larger than the projected area of the outer box at the time of assembly by the area of the side plate. Further, in order to form the back plate portion 50f facing the inner box insertion hole 50e, the tongue portions 50g are connected to the respective surfaces 50a, 50b, 50c and 50d.
When g is stored in the folding portion when folded, the tongue portion 50g may be forcibly bent or partially broken. Therefore, normally, the tongue portion 50g is not folded and the folding portion as shown in FIG. It is located outside of.
Therefore, the total length when the outer box is folded becomes longer than the total length c'when assembled by the amount of the tongue portion 50g, and the projected area becomes larger. Moreover, this problem is exactly the same in the inner box housed in the outer box.

Next, although not specifically shown in the configuration of the drawing, a dedicated fixing tool is used to fix the tongue portions 50g to each other or to reinforce other portions when the outer box is assembled. Since it is used, for example, a housewife at home may have difficulty in assembling or may be troublesome.

When the long walls 2 and 3 are bent so that the folds A and K are displaced in the X direction in this way, the split bottom plates 6 and 7 are displaced and driven as described above in accordance with the bent state. The entire box 1 is bent. Further, since the folds H and I are formed at positions of half of the entire length of the long walls 2 and 3, and the length b of the short walls 4 and 5 is formed equal to half of the length a of the long walls, Finally, the folds A and L and the folds K and J coincide with each other, and the bending of the box 1 is completed. That is, when the folding is completed, the split bottom plates 6 and 7 are completely housed inside the folded box body,
The projected area of the box 1 at the time of bending is the size of the short wall 4 or 5, which is an extremely small area as compared with the conventional product. All the selling or moving of the box 1 is performed in this folded state.

On the other hand, the assembling of the box body 1 is carried out by the procedure which is completely opposite to the above-mentioned bending. That is, when the folded box body 1 is expanded so that the long walls 2 and 3 are extended, correspondingly, the respective divided bottom plates 6 and 7 are displaced so as to be separated from the long walls 2 and 3. Corresponding to this displacement, short walls 4 and 5
Also, the triangular portions 6d and 7d connected to are also displaced and driven so as to be separated from the short walls 4 and 5, and by the displacement of the divided bottom plates 6 and 7, the long wall 2 and the short wall 4, and the long wall 3 and the short wall. 5 is pushed out and approaches the assembled state shown in FIG. The final stage in which the divided bottom plates 6 and 7 are spread in a flat plate shape and come to be located in a common plane as the fully expanded state is approached, and the long walls 2 and 3 and the short walls 4 and 5 are expanded at right angles. Then, the step portions 6c and 7c are engaged and integrated to function as one bottom plate. That is, in this configuration, only the operation of unfolding the long walls 2 and 3 is performed, the other portions are driven by this unfolding operation, and finally the divided bottom plates 6 and 7 are formed by engaging and integrating. The bottom plate serves as a support plate, and the expanded box body 1 maintains the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped. Therefore, no special fixture for forming the box is required, and the assembling and folding can be easily performed in an extremely short time.

As described in detail above, the present invention has the following advantages.
It is a box-shaped body that is a substantially rectangular parallelepiped when assembled, and consists of two pairs of wall surfaces facing each other and a bottom plate that is connected to these wall surfaces and closes one of the spaces formed by these four wall surfaces. One of the bottom plates is connected to two adjacent wall faces of the two pairs of facing wall faces, and the other bottom plate is connected to the other two adjacent wall faces of the two adjacent wall faces. Since folds are formed on the wall surface having the longer overall length and the bottom plate connected to the wall surface, the wall surfaces and the bottom plate are automatically driven according to the expansion or folding of the box. For this reason, the box body can be automatically assembled and bent by simply unfolding or folding the four wall surfaces forming the frame of the box body, and no special skill is required. In addition, the box can be assembled and folded in an extremely short time, and no fixture is required at the time of assembly.
