The page turning of the passbook is performed as described above, but it is always constant due to the size of the pressing member protruding into the pathway and the drive of the plunger magnet. If the thickness is large, the curve becomes large and a large number of pages are turned up. On the contrary, if the passbook is thin and the passbook is thin, the curve becomes too small to be turned up. Occasionally there were spots.

In the present invention, the bending means 17 is a rotating shaft 19 driven by a motor 20 capable of designating and controlling a rotation angle, and an eccentric cam fixed to the rotating shaft 19 and rotated only when turning a page to contact the passbook 1 and bend it in a predetermined manner. The object can be achieved by the automatic page-turning mechanism, which is composed of 18 and is configured to change the bending amount according to the number of overlaps of the middle paper 1a of the passbook 1.

That is, the rotation angle of the eccentric cam 18 is curved to a small degree when the number of overlaps of the middle paper 1a is large, and is curved to a large number when the number of overlaps is small, so as to always be curved in an optimum curved shape corresponding to the number of overlaps. Since the motor 20 is designated and driven and controlled, a plurality of turns or no turns are eliminated.

As shown in the side view of FIG. 1, in the automatic page turning mechanism of the present invention, the bending means 17 of the passbook 1 is composed of a variable means (hereinafter referred to as an eccentric cam) 18 using, for example, an eccentric cam. The amount of bending of the passbook 1 can be arbitrarily set by adjusting the amount of rotation of 18.

That is, as shown in the figure, when the eccentric cam 18 with the rotating shaft 19 eccentric to the pathway 2 is rotated and the short diameter part thereof faces the pathway 2, the short diameter part does not project to the pathway 2 and is rotated. It is provided at a position where the long diameter portion projects toward the pathway 2 when the long diameter portion moves to face the pathway 2.

Therefore, the inserted passbook 1 is sent in the direction of arrow A by the rotation of the feed roller 3, the pinch roller 3 ′, and the pressing roller 9 in pressure contact with the turning roller 8 as in the prior art, and is detected by a sensor (not shown) or the like. That is, the page mark of the opened page is read by the optical reading device (not shown) before the passbook 1 is inserted into the automatic page turning mechanism, and the control unit (not shown) bends the passbook 1 by using this information. The number of pages to be processed is calculated, the total thickness is grasped, and the rotation amount (step number) is instructed to the motor 20 based on the data of the optimum bending amount with respect to the thickness of a predetermined passbook.

In the above description, the eccentric cam 18 is projected to the passway 2 to bend the passbook 1, and then the turning roller 8 is rotated to perform page turning. However, the eccentric cam 18 is projected to the passway 2 to pass the passbook. When 1 is curved, the turning roller 8 may be rotated at a timing to perform page turning.
