DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION <Field of Industrial Application of the Present Invention> The present invention has a columnar portion on one surface of a flange portion, such as a stud or a fastener, and a flange on a mounting plane by a rotary welding machine. Rotate at high speed while pressing the back of the part,
The present invention relates to a resin rotary welding member that is welded and fixed to a mounting plane by frictional heat between a mounting plane and a back surface of a flange portion.

<Prior Art> A conventional rotary welding member 1 has a disk-shaped flange portion 2 and a center of the upper surface of the flange portion 2 as in the fastener shown in FIG. 3 or 4, the fastener shown in FIG. It was an integrally molded product made of a synthetic resin, which was provided with a column portion 3 protruding from the upper end portion 2a of the flange portion 2 and a plurality of claw portions 4 protruding outward in the radial direction.

Then, as shown in FIG. 6, the rotary welding member 1 (for example, the stud in FIG. 5) is placed on the mounting plane A of the substrate 5 made of synthetic resin or the like, and the contact member 7 at the tip of the rotary welding machine 6 is placed. Is abutted against the flange portion 2 of the rotary welding member 1 and pressed against the mounting plane A, insert the claw portions 4 and 4 into the engagement grooves 8a, 8a of the engagement member 8 at the tip of the rotary welding machine 6, The rotary welding member 1 also rotates at high speed together with the engagement cylinder 8. Therefore, the contact surfaces are melted and adhered to each other by the rotational friction heat between the mounting plane A and the back surface of the flange portion 2. When the rotation is stopped, the melted and adhered resin cools and solidifies, and as a result, as shown in FIG.
The rear surface of the flange portion 2 of the rotary welding member 1 is fixed to the mounting plane A inseparably.

However, as described above, in the conventional rotary welding member, the claw portions 4 and 4 for engaging with the engaging member 8 at the time of rotation largely project outward in the radial direction of the disc-shaped flange portion 2. Since the protrusion occupies an extra space, it has been inconvenient when it is necessary to install in a narrow space.

For this removal, after fixing by welding, the claw portions 4 and 4 are further engaged with the engagement grooves 8a, 8a to rotate the engaging member 8 to remove the claw portions 4 and 4 from the flange portion 2. However, if the rotary welding member 1 is made of a material having high mechanical strength, or if the rotary torque of the rotary welding machine 1 is small, the claws 4 and 4 cannot be removed by this method. Since it had to be cut with a nipper or the like, it was very complicated.

<Problems to be solved by the present invention> However, in such a rotary welding member of JP-A-60-27522, (a) in order to rotationally weld the rotary welding member to the mounting plane,
First, as in the case of FIG. 6, the engaging projection of the rotary welding member is put in the engaging groove 8a of the engaging member 8 of the rotary welding machine 6, and then the engaging member 8 is rotated. Since the operation is required, the work is complicated and takes time.

(B) Further, when the rotary welding member is rotated, the rear surface of the flange portion of the rotary welding member and the mounting plane are gradually melted by frictional heat to start welding.
If the rotation is stopped too early, for example, if the rotation is stopped too early, the degree of welding between the rotary welding member and the mounting plane will be insufficient, and later the rotary welding member will easily come off the mounting plane, and conversely the rotation will be stopped. If it is too slow, the flange and mounting plane will melt too much, the thickness of the flange will be too thin, and the mounting strength will deteriorate, or a so-called back chipping phenomenon will occur where the back side of the mounting plane is curved or uneven. It was extremely difficult to stop the rotation at the optimum timing.

<Operation> Therefore, the engaging recess on the upper surface of the flange portion of the rotary welding member is provided with an inclined wall portion for freely engaging and disengaging the engaging portion of the rotary welding machine in the circumferential direction of the flange portion. Therefore, if the engaging portion of the rotary welding machine is biased downwardly, when the engaging portion of the rotary welding machine is rotated, the engaging portion will have a concave portion for engagement along the inclined wall portion in the circumferential direction. When the rotary welding member is automatically engaged with the rotary welding member to rotate and the rear surface of the flange portion and the mounting plane are welded by the rotation to increase the resistance, the engagement portion of the rotary welding machine causes the engagement concave portion to be inclined in the circumferential direction. Since it is pushed up along the wall and automatically disengages from the engaging recess, the rotation of the rotary welding member is automatically stopped.

Therefore, in the rotary welding machine 6 almost similar to that shown in FIG. 6, the rotary welding member 6 is attached to the lower end of the engaging member 18 as shown in FIG.
If the engaging body 21 having the inclined wall portions 14a of the engaging recessed portion 14 of 11 and the lower end portion 21a adapted to the inclination of the 14a is housed in the hole 22 so as to be vertically movable, and is biased downward by the coil spring 23, When the lower end of the cylindrical abutting member (not shown) inside the tip of the rotary welding machine 6 presses the flange portion 12 of the rotary welding member 11 toward the mounting plane side and rotates the engaging member 18, the engaging member 18 is rotated. 21 is engaged with the engagement recess 14 along the inclined wall portion 14a in the circumferential direction, and the lower end portion 21a of the engagement body 21 is pushed toward the recess 14 by the biasing force of the coil spring 23.
Is pressed, the rotary welding member 11 does not come off.
Also rotates. By this rotation, when the mounting plane and the mounting plane are melted by frictional heat on the back surface of the flange portion 12 and are welded to each other to increase resistance, the lower end portion 20a is pushed up by the inclined wall and disengages automatically.

<Effects of the Present Invention> As described above, in the rotary welding member according to the present invention,
Since the engaging recess on the upper surface of the flange portion of the rotary welding member is provided with an inclined wall portion that allows engagement and disengagement of the engaging portion of the rotary welding machine in the circumferential direction of the flange portion, the rotary welding If the engaging part of the machine is biased downward, when the engaging part of the rotary welding machine is rotated, the engaging part is automatically engaged with the engaging recess along the inclined wall in the circumferential direction. When the rotary welding member is rotated, the rear surface of the flange portion and the mounting plane are welded by the rotation and the resistance is increased, the engaging portion of the rotary welding machine moves along the circumferential inclined wall portion of the engaging recess. Since it is pushed up and automatically disengages from the engaging recess, the rotation of the rotary welding member is automatically stopped.

Therefore, if the engaging member is rotated without the two-step operation of first engaging the engaging concave portion 14 of the rotary welding member 11 with the engaging member of the rotary welding machine and then rotating the engaging member,
Since the rotary welding member 11 can be automatically rotated by engaging with the engaging recess 14, the work can be completed in one step, the work can be simplified, and the work time can be shortened.

Further, when the rotation welding member 11 rotates and welding with the mounting plane progresses to increase resistance, the inclined wall portion 14a of the engaging recess 14 is formed.
The rotation of the welding member 11 automatically stops when the tilting member is disengaged along with the rotation. Therefore, the degree of welding is not sufficient, the rotation is stopped at an early timing, or the flange portion where the degree of welding has advanced excessively melts. There is no inconvenience such as excessive rotation or stopping the rotation at too late a timing that causes back chipping, and the rotation can be automatically stopped at the optimum timing.
