【発明の効果】以上説明したごとく、この発明装置は、
金属帯コイル内周端を矯正するコイル内周垂れ矯正治具
によりコイルに隙間のない状態でコイル内周端の段差検
出を行うことができるので、接触式段差検出治具のコロ
の押付け力により金属帯コイルが局部的に変形したりコ
イルに圧痕が残ることがなく、コイルの段差を精度よく
検出することができる。また、コイル内周垂れ矯正治具
は金属帯コイルに対して静止した状態が保持されるの
で、金属帯コイル内周面を傷つけることもない。さら
に、この発明装置は、コイル内周垂れ矯正治具および接
触式段差検出治具の流体圧シリンダーのストロークに余
裕を持たすことにより、金属帯コイルの内径の変化にも
対応できる利点を有する。従って、この発明装置によれ
ば、金属帯コイルの内周包装の完全自動化および包装作
業の能率向上に多大な効果を奏するものである。

属帯コイルの内周自動包装装置における金属帯コイル内
周の接触式段差検出装置であって、前記包装装置の拡縮
ドラム軸に半径方向に伸縮可能に取付けた接触式段差検
出装置に隣接して、複数の分割押え部材を半径方向に拡
縮する機構を備えたコイル内周垂れ矯正治具を同拡縮ド
ラム軸に軸受を介して回転自在に取付けたことを特徴と
する金属帯コイル内周の段差検出装置。
