In such a configuration, when the operation unit (not shown) is operated, the photosensitive drum 30 rotates once, and the paper 5 is supplied to the outer periphery of the photosensitive drum 30 in synchronization with this operation. In the process in which the photosensitive drum 30 makes one rotation, the charging charger 24 charges the outer circumference of the photosensitive drum 30 with a potential, and the light source section 23 is charged on this charging layer.
The laser beam from is scanned to form an electrostatic latent image,
The electrostatic latent image is developed by the developing unit 31, the developed image is transferred to the sheet 5 by the transfer charger 14, the cleaning mechanism 28 removes the residual toner adhering to the outer periphery of the photosensitive drum 30, and the charge eliminating charger 25 exposes it. The potential on the outer periphery of the drum 30 is removed. The transferred sheet 5 is sent backward by the feed roller 16 and the large diameter portion 46b of the roller 46, fixed by the fixing device 15 and discharged to the sheet receiver 20.

The developing unit 27 is a consumable item and is replaced at regular intervals.
In that case, first, the operating rod 74 is pressed from the front to rotate the hoisting lever 71 clockwise to retract it from the projecting piece 45.
In this state, the upper frame 3 is opened upward as shown in FIG. In this state, the presser lever
68 is also displaced upward, and the developing unit 27 is supported by the notches 63, 64, 65. Therefore, the developing unit 27 is taken out to a large space outside by lifting the handle 42, and the photosensitive drum 30 and the developing unit 31 are exchanged at this position.

The developing section 31 is disassembled simply by removing the shaft 39 from the hooking section 44, and the photosensitive drum 30 is disassembled only by removing the shaft section 40 from the groove 41.
Therefore, the photosensitive drum 30 and the developing section 31 can be attached and detached very easily in a large work space without using a tool. The developing unit 31 tries to rotate about the shaft 39 as a fulcrum, but in order to keep the gap between the magnet roller 38 and the photosensitive drum 30 constant, the magnet roller 38
Since a ring (not shown) that comes into contact with the end portion of the photosensitive drum 30 is provided at the end portion of the above, it is stable without actually rotating. Since the developing unit 27 is positioned and supported by the notches 63, 64, 65 and is pressed by the pressing lever 68 and the compression spring 70, the mounting on the housing 1 is stable and the mounting work is easy.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION As described above, according to the present invention, the upper frame is connected to the lower frame so as to be openable and closable in the vertical direction about the fulcrum and fixed at any position, and at least the photoconductor, the developing unit and the cleaning mechanism are mounted on the holder. And a supporting portion formed by a U-shaped cutout at an upper end opening for positioning the developing unit in the lower frame and holding the developing unit detachably in the vertical direction, and the developing unit in the upper frame. Since a pressing portion that elastically presses downward is provided, during maintenance, by rotating the upper frame upward with respect to the lower frame, the support portion formed by the U-shaped cutout at the upper end opening is supported. The developed developing unit can be attached and detached. This allows the developing unit to be taken out of the lower frame and used in a large work space to keep the photoreceptor and This has the effect that the leaning mechanism and the developing unit can be replaced.
