Abstract

PURPOSE:To sufficiently restrain the bending of a steel beam even though the web height of the beam is small, and to increase the out-of-plane restraint force so as to decrease the crosswise reinforcement. CONSTITUTION:A flange-like upper cord member 2 and a pipe-like upper cord member 3 are provided at the top and bottom of a web part 1, respectively. A tension load wire 4 is inserted through the lower cord member 3 and is secured at opposite ends of the cord member 3 in a stretched condition. A reinforcement brace, a high tension steel beam or the like may used as the tension load wire 4. The upper cord member 2 is provided with ribs 2a. Tensile stress upon bending effected the lower cord member 3 is canceled out by the use of prestress by the tension load wire 4 so as to exhibit excellent bending effect. Further, The provision of the pipe-like lower cord member and the lips of the upper cord member give a large out-of-plane restraint force.

When H-section steel is used as a beam material, in order to sufficiently reduce the flexure against a load and reduce the vibration, the beam formation, that is, the height dimension of the beam cross section is large. Must be used. However, the higher the beam is, the higher the ceiling is, and the height of the building is unnecessarily increased. Therefore, an H-section steel having a cross section that does not cause a problem in strength is usually used, but the vibration due to the bending of the beam is a major drawback of the steel frame structure. Further, when H-section steel is used as a floor beam, out-of-plane restraint force cannot be obtained sufficiently, and it is necessary to increase the number of horizontal tie members.

According to the steel beam having this structure, the lower chord member is prestressed in the compression direction by the tension-loading wire rod that is inserted and fixed in the pipe-shaped lower chord member. Therefore, the pre-stress acts in the canceling direction against the stress in the pulling direction that acts on the lower chord member due to the load, and the flexure can be reduced even if the beam formation is low. Further, since the lower chord member is pipe-shaped, the out-of-plane restraining resistance is large, and the lateral stiffening is small. When the upper chord member is provided with a lip, lateral reinforcement can be further reduced due to the reinforcing effect of the lip portion.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. In this steel frame beam, a flange-shaped upper chord member 2 is horizontally provided at the upper end of the web portion 1, and a pipe-shaped lower chord member 3 is provided at the lower end. It is stopped in the state.

The plate-shaped member B constituting the remaining one side of the upper chord member 2 is joined to the character-shaped member A by welding 5 to be formed. Also,
The joining of the pipe-shaped lower chord member 3 to the lower end of the web portion 1 is also shown in FIG.
Is performed by welding 6 as described above. Since a plurality of members are welded to form a steel beam in this manner, the dimensions of each part can be freely selected and set according to the purpose of use.

A PC steel rod (high-tensile steel rod) is used here as the wire 4 for tension loading which is inserted into the pipe-shaped lower chord member 3. Both ends of the tension load wire 4 are inserted through holes 7 of a disc-shaped cap plate 7 that closes both ends of the pipe-shaped lower chord member 3.
The nut 8 is inserted into the cap plate 7a, and the nuts 8 are screwed into the male screw parts 4a formed at both ends thereof, so that the cap plate 7 is fixed in a tensioned state. As the wire rod 4 for tension loading, a reinforcing bar brace or a stranded PC steel wire may be used.

According to this structure, the tensile stress acting on the lower chord member 3 due to the bending of the steel beam is offset by the prestress by the tension load wire 4 fixed between both ends of the pipe-shaped lower chord member 4. Therefore, even if the height of the web portion 1 is low, it is possible to sufficiently suppress the bending and prevent the occurrence of vibration due to the bending. Moreover, the beam can be made lighter by that much.

Further, since the lower chord member 3 has a pipe shape, it has a large out-of-plane restraining force, so that lateral stiffening is small. Moreover, since the lower chord member 3 has a pipe shape, it has an advantage that it looks good when used for an exposed ceiling beam. Since the upper chord member 2 has a flange shape, a deck plate, a folding plate, and the like can be mounted and mounted well, like the conventional H-section steel. When the lip portion 2a is provided on the upper chord member 2 as in this embodiment, the lip portion 2a can reinforce the upper chord member 2, and thus a larger out-of-plane restraining force can be obtained.

According to the steel beam of the present invention, a flange-shaped upper chord member and a pipe-shaped lower chord member are provided above and below the web portion, respectively, and a tension load wire is inserted into the lower chord member so that the lower chord member is tensioned. Since it is fastened to both ends of the material, it is possible to obtain an effect of preventing bending by prestressing, and it is possible to obtain a beam with small bending and less vibration. Moreover, a large out-of-plane restraining force can be obtained by the pipe-shaped lower chord member, and lateral stiffening can be reduced. When the upper chord member is provided with the lip portion, a larger out-of-plane restraining force can be obtained.
