Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication (Kokai) No. 58-96824 discloses a method of cooling a strip with a cooling roll satisfying a certain relationship with the roll diameter. The present invention relates to a strip cooling roll, the roll diameter of which is determined based on the temperature drop amount of the strip cooled by one roll. That is, when the cooling amount per roll is 20 ° C. or less, the cooling efficiency is poor and the number of cooling rolls increases, so that it is difficult to apply it to an actual machine. Further, when the amount of cooling with one roll is 150 ° C. or higher, uneven cooling is likely to occur in the strip, and it is difficult to obtain a good strip.

And the relationship between the roll outer diameter D, the heat passage amount K, the plate thickness t, and the line speed L s is defined as in equation (4).

It turns out that the conditions disclosed in the issue are still insufficient. For example, some strips have a temperature unevenness after cooling, or some strips are deformed and buckled significantly during cooling, resulting in wrinkle-like distortion, so-called cooling buckle.

It was found that the influence was exerted, the roll's own weight, the weight of the circulating heat medium, the deflection due to strip tension, etc., and the thermal strain of the roll due to contact with the hot strip were largely controlled.

方法を提供することを目的とする。The present invention can prevent the heating and cooling unevenness of the strip and the resulting deformation of the strip by considering two requirements, that is, the constraint on the strength of the roll shell and the constraint on the thermal strain of the roll shell. An object of the present invention is to provide a heat treatment method.

G 2 12 and strip tension 2G 3 W act. Since both ends of the roll 1 are supported by the bearings 4, the roll 1 can be regarded as a simple beam. Therefore, assuming that the roll weight 2G 1 l 1 , the heat medium weight 2G 2 l 2 , and the strip tension 2G 3 W are evenly distributed in all 1s between the bearings 4, the maximum bending stress σ generated in the roll 1 is obtained.
Is calculated by the following equation (5).

尚、10.5は実験定数である。σ = 16D (G 1 l 1 + G 2 l 2 + G 3 W) L / {π (D 4
-▲ D 4 i ▼)} (5) If the maximum bending stress σ obtained by the equation (5) is smaller than the yield stress σ y of the roll shell, the roll 1 will not be damaged by the above-mentioned three external forces. But this is not enough. If the roll 1 is largely deflected by an external force, the contact state between the roll 1 and the strip 2 is deteriorated, and the strip 2 is uneven in temperature.
Therefore, when the experimental data was analyzed, it was found that the maximum bending stress σ was equal to the yield stress σ y of the roll shell as shown in the following formula (6) so that the roll 1 and the strip 2 were in good contact with each other.
It turns out that it needs to be smaller than 10.5.
In addition, 10.5 is an experimental constant.

The roll shell temperature T δ ( δ ) of is, as shown in the following formula (8),

Wavy irregularities occur on the outer surface of the. For this reason, a portion of the strip 3 that comes into contact with the roll 1 and a portion that does not come into contact with the roll 1 are produced, and uneven cooling occurs. In simple terms, the following formula is established when the arithmetic mean temperature of the roll shell temperature generated by the cooling heat flow is taken as the representative temperature.

It has been confirmed that in the range of up to 8 m, if the following formula (12) is not satisfied, deformation of the strip will occur due to uneven cooling, which adversely affects the quality of the final product.
