Since it is used under the condition of high speed rotation, there is a drawback that the urethane rubber layer peels from the roll core before the rubber layer is damaged.

There is. For example, Japanese Patent Publication
No. 36133 forms a fiber reinforced layer on the outer periphery of a metallic roll core, the fiber reinforced layer including at least one layer made of a non-woven fabric impregnated with a mixture in which a fine inorganic powder is mixed with a curable resin. It has been proposed to form a urethane rubber coating layer by the method.

This water permeates from the roll surface and reaches the fiber reinforcing layer with the passage of time, and further permeates to the roll core, but since the conventionally used fiber reinforcing layer is formed mainly by impregnating an epoxy resin, Penetration speed is slow. For this reason, water accumulates between the fiber reinforcement layer and the urethane rubber layer, and so-called blister peeling occurs. Therefore, although the adhesive strength with the roll core is improved by the fiber reinforcing layer, there is a problem that peeling occurs between the fiber reinforcing layer and the urethane rubber layer.

The roll core 1 is made of a metal such as iron, copper, stainless steel, etc., like the conventional roll core. The fiber layer 2 is formed of non-woven fabric fibers impregnated with urethane resin. As the fiber material, glass fiber, metal fiber, and synthetic fiber such as nylon and polyester are used. A nonwoven fabric made of such a fibrous material is impregnated with liquid urethane rubber and wound into a suitable layer. Further, the nonwoven fabric impregnated with the liquid urethane rubber can be used by any method, and the liquid urethane rubber can be quickly impregnated so that it can withstand a predetermined tension and be wound. Any material having tensile strength may be used.

When forming the fiber layer, the nonwoven fabric fiber tape 12 fed from the fiber tape roll 11 is wound while rotating the roll core 1 in the arrow direction. At this time, before being wound around the non-woven fiber tape 12, the guide rollers 13 and 14 guide the liquid to the impregnation tank 15, where liquid urethane rubber 16 is introduced.
Are impregnated. The impregnation method of the liquid urethane rubber 16 does not depend on the conventional dipping method.
By a so-called drip method, a liquid urethane rubber 16 is prepared by mixing a urethane rubber and a curing agent in 17 and then impregnating the nonwoven fabric fiber tape 12 by drip. The roll core 1 is rotated in the direction of the arrow while impregnating the nonwoven fabric tape 12 with the liquid urethane rubber 16 by drip to form a laminate.

The liquid urethane rubber 16 is directly dipped onto the wound non-woven fiber tape 12 while spirally winding the non-woven fiber tape 12 from the fiber tape roll 11 without using. That is, in this method, the drip liquid urethane rubber is sandwiched between the non-woven fabric tapes 12 to be wound thereon and laminated.

Therefore, when the dipping method is used like ordinary resins, the liquid urethane rubber is cured in the resin tank and impregnated. I couldn't. On the other hand, in the present invention, since the urethane rubber and the curing agent are mixed and drip in the mixing tank, they are not cured before the impregnation. Further, in the conventional dipping method, the viscosity becomes high even if the liquid resin is not cured in the resin tank, and it becomes difficult to penetrate into the non-woven fabric tape as much, but in the drip method the viscosity is low because the liquid resin just mixed can be used, It can be uniformly permeated.
