[Prior Art] A conventional vehicle heat exchanger tank is constructed as shown in FIG. That is, the skirt portion 2 of the tank body 1 is projected outward in the form of a small flange. Then, the skirt portion 2 is fitted into the annular groove 4 formed on the peripheral edge of the tube plate 3 via the O-ring 6, and the rim portion of the annular groove 4 itself or a caulking (not shown) attached to the annular groove 4 is fitted. The tank body 1 and the tube plate 3 were fastened and fixed by bending the claw portion of the plate to the outer surface side of the skirt portion 2.

However, such a tank structure has a drawback that the number of steps for assembling the tank increases, and the skirt portion 2 projects outward more than a certain extent, so that the projecting width T must be relatively large. As a result, the total thickness of the heat exchanger must be increased.

That is, in this tank structure, the hem 2 of the tank body 1 made of synthetic resin is liquid-tightly fixed to the peripheral edge of the tube plate 3. Here, the feature of the present invention is that
An annular groove 4 is formed on the entire circumference of the inner surface of the skirt portion 2, and the skirt portion 2 of the tank body 1 is elastically deformable outward, and is fitted to the peripheral edge of the tube plate 3 with a substantially L-shaped cross section. Form part 5. The fitting portion 5 is fitted and locked in the annular groove 4 via the O-ring 6.

FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view of a main part of a first embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, a tank body 1 is formed in an elongated box shape, and a stepped annular shape is formed on an inner surface of a lower edge of the opening side. A groove 4 is formed in which an O-ring 6 is seated. Next, the fitting portion 5 having an L-shaped cross section is formed on the entire peripheral edge of the tube plate 3 to which a large number of tubes 7 are fitted. The fitting portion 5 is composed of a portion where a step is slightly formed on the base surface of the tube plate 3 and a portion which is bent at a right angle. Then, the end portion of the tube 7 is inserted into the tube hole of the tube plate 3 in advance, and the insertion portion is fixed by brazing. In this state, as shown in FIG. 1, the tube plate 3
And the tube 7 is pushed from the state of the chain line to the state of the solid line. Then, the skirt portion 2 of the tank body 1 is once deformed from the solid line state to the chain line state, and the fitting portion 5 of the tube plate 3 is fitted into the annular groove 4. Then, the skirt portion 2 returns to the solid line state again. As a result, the fitting portion 5 is fitted and locked in the annular groove 4 to form a liquid-tight structure. Next, FIG. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view of a main part of a second embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, the fitting portion 5 of the tube plate 3 is raised to the inner surface side of the tank, and its edge is slightly narrowed inward.

This tank structure has a structure in which the L-shaped fitting portion 5 formed on the peripheral edge of the tube plate 3 is fitted and locked in the annular groove 4 on the inner surface of the skirt portion 2 via the O-ring 6, so that Easy to assemble. At the same time, even if cooling water or the like flows out to the outer peripheral surface of the tank, it is possible to prevent those corrosion products from staying at the peripheral edge of the tube plate 3, and thus it is possible to provide a heat exchanger having good durability. Furthermore, since the fitting portion 5 of the tube plate 3 of the present invention is structured to be locked to the inner surface side of the tank body 1, the protruding width T of the skirt portion 2 can be reduced as much as possible. It can contribute to making the heat exchanger thinner.
That is, unlike the conventional tank body 1, the protrusion on the outer surface of the skirt for closing the outer surface of the tank body 1 is unnecessary.
