カールロッドの表層側に延在され、上記ヘアークリップ
は金属製の固定片と可動片とで形成されてカールロッド
の両端部にそれぞれ装着され、この可動片は固定片に対
して開閉可能に連結されて上記カルロッドに巻き付けら
れた毛髪の両端部を固定保持すると共に、固定片は先端
側を上記カールロッド内へ埋設させて可撓芯材の端部と

対のつぼ金具6a,6aを設け、該つぼ金具6aの内端面は楕
円形のカム面6bを形成すると共に、当該つぼ金具6a内に
は可動片７の基端側に設けられた脚ピン7aが回動可能に
枢支されている。この可動片７は中間部が毛髪８を抑え
るのに適する湾曲状で先端側に摘み部7bが形成され、当
該可動片７を固定片６側へ回動させると、脚ピン7aは付
け根がカム面6bに摺接しながら外向きのバネ力に抗して
回動し、降伏点（カム面の頂点）を越えると急速に回動
