のため上記左パネル(3)の上部に固定された照明器とし
ての部分照明器，(10)は上記右パネル(4)に設けた端末
装置設置機構によつて設置された端末装置，(11)は，上
記右パネル(4)に設置された大型デイスプレイ装置，(1
2)は，センターパネル(2)に設けられた，上下・前後・
左右の調整が可能な設置機構により設置された標準デイ
スプレイ装置，(13)はセンターパネル(2)に設けられた
電話機，(14)は上記標準デイスプレイ装置(12)や上記電
話機(13)などの電気系・情報系各種の配線ケーブル，(1
5)はこの配線ケーブルを収納する，上記床面ベース(1)
の周縁に設けられた配線スペースである。この配線スペ
ース(15)の拡大図を第４図に示し，表からとりはずして
作業できるようなゴム質状のふた(18)が取付けられてい
る。本発明の電子計算機用カプセルユニツト（以下カプ
セルユニツトと略す）は以上の様に構成されているが，
次にこの施工例を第５図に示す。同図の様にカプセルユ
ニツトを複数並べていくことによりＶＤＴ作業のための
エリアを形成する。また上記のようにカプセルユニツト
を並べた列を複数並べてＶＤＴ作業エリアを形成する時
の列と列の間，例えば通路などはカプセルユニツト間の
結合のためのジヨイントユニツトを用いて形成する。こ
のジヨイントユニツトも上記床面ベース(1)のように配
線スペース(15)を有する。即ち，機器の機能を高度に集
積したカプセルユニツトと，それにつなぐ機能をもつジ
