Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable sufficient corrosion prevention of the bottom board of a tank by using steel in which the whole face excluding the central part is coated with a low potential metal as backing steel for welding at the time of forming the bottom board of the tank. CONSTITUTION:The whole face excluding the central part 2 with a prescribed width directly below the weld zone of the backing steel 1 for welding the bottom board of the tank is applied with a metal potentially baser than iron such as zinc and aluminum, e.g. with the sprayed coating 3 of zinc. The backing steel 1 is used, and the bottom board 4 is connected by welding. In this way, the bottom board 4 and the backing steel 1 are integrated, by which the whole face of the rear of the bottom board 3 of the tank is coated with the sprayed coating of zinc, and its corrosion prevention can sufficiently be executed.

2. Description of the Related Art A tank bottom plate is manufactured by butt-welding a steel plate on a base soil such as oil sand. Particularly, the back surface of the bottom plate is apt to be corroded by moisture, oxygen, etc. contained in the base soil. . Even when the tank bottom plate is made of a steel plate plated with metal or sprayed with metal, there is a problem that the back surface of the welded portion is damaged by welding and corrosion occurs. Therefore, various anticorrosion methods for preventing the corrosion of the tank bottom plate have been conventionally implemented, and as one of them, the electrocorrosion method has been implemented for a long time.

However, since the electric conductivity of the foundation soil is not constant in the cathodic protection method, it is difficult to apply an anticorrosion current evenly to the entire bottom plate, which causes local corrosion. There was a drawback. In addition, JP-A-59
As described in JP-A-177374, a corrosion prevention method has been developed in which an anticorrosive material made of a low-potential metal is arranged on the lower surface of a welded portion of a tank bottom plate member, and the anticorrosive material is melted by welding heat. However, this method has a drawback that the welded portion is embrittled by the low melting point metal embrittlement. An object of the present invention is to provide a backing steel material for welding a tank bottom plate and a corrosion protection method for a tank bottom plate, which can solve all of the above-mentioned problems and can easily perform the corrosion protection of the tank bottom plate.

The present invention is used for forming a tank bottom plate by welding a steel plate coated with one or more metals which are more base electric potentials than iron such as zinc and aluminum. It is a backing steel material for welding, and the backing steel material for welding a tank bottom plate is characterized in that the entire surface except the widthwise central part of the surface that abuts the welding part is coated with a metal that is base potential less than iron. . In addition, even if there is a slight gap between the tank bottom plate and the welding backing material, the watertightness is increased so that corrosion protection can be efficiently achieved. A backing steel material for welding a tank bottom plate, characterized in that a linear protrusion is provided in parallel with the line. Furthermore, assuming that the coating material is mechanically damaged and interferes with corrosion prevention, it is a tank back plate welding backing steel material that can prevent corrosion even in such a case. A backing steel material for welding a tank bottom plate that is electrically connected, or a backing steel material for welding a tank bottom plate that is integrated by incorporating a metal ingot that is more base potential than iron. Further, in forming a tank bottom plate by welding a steel plate coated with one or two or more metals that are more base electric potentials than iron such as zinc and aluminum, the tank bottom plate is formed. Is a backing steel material for welding the tank bottom plate, which is characterized in that it is an anticorrosion method for the tank bottom plate.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a part of a backing steel material for welding a tank bottom plate according to claim 1, wherein a zinc sprayed coating 3 is applied to the entire surface of the backing steel material 1 excluding a central portion 2 having a width of 60 mm which is directly below a welded portion. There is. FIG. 2 is a partial perspective view showing a state in which the tank bottom plate material 4 is connected by welding using the tank bottom plate welding backing steel material. Tank bottom plate material 4 by welding
And the backing steel material 1 are integrated with each other, and the entire back surface of the tank bottom plate material 4 is covered with a zinc spray coating to prevent corrosion. Figure 3
FIG. 3 is a view showing a backing steel material 1 for welding a tank bottom plate having a projection, in which a steel plate 5 having projections 8 formed on both sides of a central portion 2 which directly hits directly below a welded portion is formed on a steel plate 5 similar to the backing steel material shown in FIG. The thermal spray coating 3 is coated. FIG. 4 shows a partial cross-sectional view when this backing steel material 1 is used. Figure 5
Shows a perspective view of the backing steel material for welding 1 in which a zinc galvanic anode 6 is connected via a core metal 7. FIG.
The perspective view of the backing steel material 1 for welding integrated with was shown. As described above, the use of the welding backing steel material 1 according to the present invention has an advantage that the entire bottom surface of the tank can be covered with the zinc coating, and the back surface of the tank bottom plate is sufficiently corrosion-protected. Further, when the backing steel material provided with the galvanic anode of the present invention is used, there is an advantage that corrosion is prevented even when the coating film is damaged. According to the present invention, since the adverse effect of the zinc coating during welding is slight, there is no problem, but if the zinc coating in the vicinity of the welded portion of the tank bottom plate material 4 is removed before welding, even better results are obtained. can get.

Although the case of a backing steel material coated with zinc spray coating has been exemplified here, it goes without saying that the same effect can be obtained in the case of aluminum spray coating or aluminum / zinc spray coating, and also in the case of these plated steel sheets. Further, in the case of the backing steel material 1 having the projections 8, the number of the projections 8 is indispensable to be at least two, but more projections may be provided. Furthermore, the same effect can be obtained even if the tank bottom plate material is provided with projections for thermal spraying or the projections are formed by the thermal spray coating itself.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION When a sprayed steel sheet is welded by using the backing steel material for welding according to the present invention to form a tank bottom plate, not only a sound weld bead can be obtained, but also the back surface of the tank bottom plate is entirely covered with a sprayed coating. Therefore, it is possible to obtain an effect that the back surface of the tank bottom plate is sufficiently protected from corrosion. If a backing steel material for welding incorporating a galvanic anode is used, the corrosion protection of the tank bottom plate is further ensured due to the anticorrosion effect. Therefore, the service life of the tank bottom plate can be greatly extended, and an extremely excellent effect can be obtained in terms of ensuring the safety of the tank.
