(B) Conventional Technology As a conventional starting device for such an electric motor, there has been a device described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 58-55758. The one disclosed in this publication forcibly switches the energization to the stator winding based on a three-phase oscillator circuit while an output is being output from a start signal circuit that measures a certain time at startup. The operation was performed (operated as a synchronous motor), and after the timing of the start signal circuit was completed, switching to energization based on the induced voltage was performed.

(C) Problems to be Solved by the Invention In the conventional technology as described above, it is necessary to have a margin in timekeeping time because synchronization is required during the synchronous operation by the start signal circuit. Therefore, it takes a long time to reach the normal operation based on the induced voltage, and the starting device has a poor start-up characteristic. That is, although the electric motors are synchronized, the normal operation cannot be performed during the time measured by the start signal circuit, and the start-up is delayed.

(F) Embodiment An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is an electric circuit diagram of a main part of an electric motor starter. In the figure, 1 is a single-phase AC power supply (commercial power supply), 2 is a rectifying / smoothing constant voltage circuit, and rectifies an AC supplied from the AC power supply 1. After smoothing and smoothing, it is converted into a DC voltage according to the voltage signal applied to the terminal I and output from the terminal O. Reference numeral 3 denotes a control unit, which outputs a voltage signal according to the rotation speed signal of the electric motor given to the terminal F from the terminal O 1 to the terminal I of the rectifying / smoothing constant-voltage circuit 2 and also by the edge trigger given to the terminal P. The output of O 2 and the output of the terminal D are controlled.
Reference numeral 4 denotes a switching element, ON / OFF of which is controlled by the output of the terminal O 2 of the control unit 3. When the switching element 4 is turned on, the resistor 5 is connected in parallel to the output terminal O of the rectifying / smoothing constant voltage circuit 2, and the output voltage of the terminal O can be forcibly reduced. This reduction width can be set by the value of the resistor 5. Reference numeral 6 denotes an inverter circuit in which a plurality of switching elements are connected in a three-phase bridge shape, and ON / OFF of each switching element is controlled by an output of a terminal D of the control unit 3. Reference numeral 7 denotes a comparator, which inputs changes in voltage supplied to the three-phase windings of the DC brushless motor 8 via resistors 9, 10 and 11, respectively, and is output from a terminal O of the rectifying and smoothing constant voltage circuit 2. Voltage to the resistor 12,1
It is to be compared with the voltage divided by 3.

FIG. 2 is an operation explanatory view showing main operations of the control unit 3 and peripheral components shown in FIG. First, in step S 1 , it is determined whether or not to start the electric motor 8. When the electric motor 8 is not started, "N = 10" is set. When the electric motor 8 is started, the stator winding is energized to generate an induced voltage due to the rotation of the rotor. Then it is determined whether there is a signal from the comparator 7 at Step S 2, when the signal is confirmed supplied to the terminal F with the energization switching stator winding based on the signal in step S 3 A DC voltage based on the generated rotation speed signal is output from the terminal O of the rectifying / smoothing constant voltage circuit 2. Then variable N of the counter in step S 4, it is determined whether or not "N ≦ 0", "N ≦ 0" to step S 5 when fully is not "N ≦ 0" terminal O 2 until the The switching element 4 is turned on by the output from. Also the "N ≦ 0" when you are fully to the switching element 4 to "N = 0" in step S 6 in the OFF state.

The electric motor starter configured as described above can determine the time required for start-up based on the number of signals from the comparator. That is, since the rotation speed of the rotor becomes faster (becomes the set rotation speed) as the rotation stabilizes (starting is completed), it is easy to reach the count of N times.

(G) Effect of the Invention This invention is a starter for an electric motor that switches energization to the stator winding based on the rotational position of the rotor, and a position detector that outputs a pulse output according to the rotational position of the rotor, and A discrimination unit that discriminates between startup and normal operation according to the number of pulse outputs of the position detection unit, and a control unit that lowers the voltage applied to the motor by using a dummy resistor between the output terminals of the power supply during the startup period. Since it is provided, it is possible to determine the end of the start-up period based on the number of pulse outputs, suppress the unnecessary start-up period, and obtain a start-up with a quick start-up. That is, after the startup is completed, the output cycle of the pulse output is shortened, the number of pulse outputs is counted faster, and the unnecessary startup period can be shortened accordingly.
