However, in the above-mentioned conventional ring, when the spindle speed is 18,000 rpm or more, the friction resistance between the ring and the traveler increases, and the friction heat rapidly increases, so that the traveler is early. There was a problem that seizure, scattering, and wear of the ring flange proceeded, making continuous operation impossible. Therefore, methods of nitriding the surface of the ring or forming a diffusion layer of intermetallic carbide have been considered. However, there is a problem that the toughness of the hardened layer is low and peeling is easy, and the compatibility with the traveler is poor, the traveler is seized, and stable operation is insufficient especially in high-speed spinning.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the problems of the prior art. The object of the present invention is to significantly improve at least the wear resistance and heat resistance of the flange surface in contact with the traveler. A spinning ring is provided. In order to achieve the above object, the spinning ring of the present invention is a spinning ring in which a coating layer of a ternary alloy of nickel-boron-tungsten is formed in a thickness of 10 to 40 μm on at least the surface in contact with the traveler. The surface with which the traveler comes in contact was formed to have a Ra of 0.2 μm or less by polishing.

The composition of the coating layer is nickel 9
It is preferable that the range is 0 to 96%, tungsten 3 to 8%, and boron 1 to 2%. The total content of tungsten and boron in the composition of the coating layer is 4 to 10% (% by weight)
However, if it is less than 4%, sufficient wear resistance and heat resistance cannot be obtained, and if it exceeds 10%, the slidability of the traveler is poor.

If the thickness of the coating layer is less than 10 μm, abrasion resistance and heat resistance are not sufficiently exhibited, and if it exceeds 40 μm, the treatment time becomes long and the cost increases.
