圧排対象全体にかかる必要があるため、開いた状態で箆
に透き間のない平板のものが望ましいが、従来のリトラ
クターは何れも開いた状態の時に箆に大きな透き間が生
じる。従って、肝臓などの硬い臓器の圧排には問題ない
が、腸管などの比較的柔らかい臓器を圧排しようとする
場合、透き間から臓器がはみ出してしまい使用できな
い。この箆の透き間は図7に示すリトラクターが一番大
きく、図4,図8に示すリトラクターは一応中央部分に
支えになるものが形成されるため、図7に示すリトラク
ターよりは小さくなるが、何れのリトラクターも柔らか
い臓器の圧排には使用できない。また、図4に示すリト
ラクターはその構造上、図6に示すように、開いた状態
で可動箆10a,10b,11a,11bが半円柱形状
となり、先端に鋭角部分を生じる等の問題点があった。
