Abstract

PURPOSE:To impart the resilience to make the fastener member usable to an adherend curved in a homogeneously engaging shape, the excellent coupling force in a temp. region exceeding room temp. mountability and the flexibility of positioning in a detaining state to the member. CONSTITUTION:The rail type detaining pieces 2, base plate part 1 and lug part 4 of the resin molded surface fastener are molded by extrusion molding of a soft resin I (thermoplastic polyvinyl chloride (PVC) having 60 to 99 deg. hardness, for example, 300Kg/cm<2> modulus of elasticity) in order to maintain a curving property and further, a lining (reinforcing material layer 3) made of a resin II (thermoplastic PVC having, for example, 18000Kg/cm<2> modulus of elasticity) harder than the resin I is formed on the front surface or inner layer of the base plate part in order to assure the detaining force in a wide temp. region. The resins I, II satisfy the relation KI/KII >=1.1 in the ratio (KI, KII) of the modulus of elasticly at ordinary temp. and >=50 deg.C, respectively.

This type of surface fastener made of a so-called rail-type molded surface fastener member is easy to adjust its movement in the vertical direction and has a large engaging strength in the lateral direction and the latching direction (the direction perpendicular to the surface of the substrate portion). Therefore, not to mention the field of application of conventional surface fasteners, especially in the field of non-clothing fields where it is necessary to adjust the mounting state and the above characteristics can be utilized, such as joints for tent sheets, interior and exterior in the housing field. It can be widely used in various fields such as material joints and joint materials for various seat covers.

By the way, in this type of known molded surface fastener member, the entire surface fastener member including the engaging piece is usually hard in order to enhance the engaging property of the rail-shaped engaging piece. It is made of a material having a high elastic modulus, for example, a hard vinyl chloride resin, and it is hard just like a long ruler, and when the two surface fastener members are fitted and engaged with each other, a snapping sound is generated. It is made tight enough to tear and has high adhesion and strong locking, but it has little flexibility and little freedom.

However, such a molded surface fastener member can be adjusted in flexibility or position in a mounting structure in which flexibility of an object to which it is attached is maintained, or in accordance with a procedure of mounting work or adjustment of a locking direction or a positional deviation. Is mandatory. However, once this type of molded surface fastener member is locked and integrated, the molded surface fastener member itself is hard, and the two surface fastener members have a high degree of close contact, although the engaging force and the adhesiveness are high as described above. As a result, the flexibility of the surface fastener is naturally low, and even if an object is to be installed along a adherend with a curved surface, the curved surface is not easily curved and has a smooth surface. The mated state cannot be achieved, and if the bent state is to be strengthened again, the engagement is likely to be disengaged, and its adjustment is actually very difficult. Further, it is difficult to roll or fold the object with the surface fastener member attached to the object, even if the object is compactly stored for transportation.

As described above, the rail-type molded surface fastener member has a high engaging property because it is hard, but conversely, therefore, the molded surface fastener member itself is hard, so that the surface fastener member is There is a big inconvenience that the application means and the range of the molded surface fastener are extremely limited due to the fact that the mounting means itself when mounting on a target object becomes difficult, and such a molded surface fastener. Is a practically unsatisfactory surface fastener for the above reason even if it is a relatively flexible object, such as a tent sheet, and so on. Not applicable as a locking material.

Therefore, in order to eliminate the inconvenience, it is conceivable to mold the molded surface fastener member with a soft resin. However, if the surface fastener member is simply made of a soft resin, the surface of the substrate is Since the flexibility is large, if the object to which the surface fastener member is attached is flexible, the surface fastener member itself attached thereto is easily bent as described above, and the substrate surface is not firm, There is another big problem that the engaging piece is likely to fall over and escapes easily, and the engaging piece is easily disengaged, and the resin becomes softer, so that the performance at high temperature is significantly deteriorated.

Therefore, in the rail type resin molded surface fastener member having this kind of bulged rail type engaging piece, the slide adjustment in the vertical direction is easy to perform and the original fastener member having a strong lateral engaging force is used. While taking advantage of the features
The fastener itself is flexible and has good flexibility, the range of the object is not limited, and it is easy to adjust the deviation when the object is engaged with the fastener, and a fastener member that is also excellent in attachment to the object to be attached is provided. Although it is requested, there is no proposal yet to satisfy the above-mentioned request.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION The inventors of the present invention have made diligent studies on resin molded surface fastener members that meet various requirements and purposes as described above, and finally compared the engaging piece and the entire surface fastener member of the substrate portion. In order to prevent the engagement element part from sticking due to such bending of the board part, the board part is soft and becomes softer when the temperature rises. In addition, if the reinforcement layer made of a hard and heat-resistant resin is formed in multiple layers at the base, that is, at the base part, the base of the engaging piece is solidified and collapsed while having flexibility and flexibility as a surface fastener member. The inventors have found that it can be made difficult to improve the engaging force, and that the performance can be maintained at high temperature, and the present invention has been completed.

In such a molded surface fastener member, the molded surface fastener member of the present invention has a large locking strength in a specific direction when the two are locked and integrated,
In addition, it has an appropriate shape for moving one surface fastener member when locking is integrated, or in a state where locking is integrated, has smooth detachability, and further has required locking strength. In order to obtain the resin (I) used for the base plate part 1, the ears 4 and the engaging pieces 2 following the base plate part, the resin (I) is a soft grade and has a hardness of 60 to 99 degrees (°).
It is preferable to use the above resin. When the hardness is less than 60 °, the resin is too soft and the locking is easily released when the two molded surface fastener members are locked and integrated. Again 99
If it exceeds 50 °, the resin becomes too hard and the flexibility of the surface fastener member deteriorates, and the mountability also deteriorates.

In the present invention, the surface or / and the inner surface of the substrate portion 1 of the above-mentioned surface fastener member is formed with a multi-layered layer of the resin (II) as the reinforcing layer 3 of the substrate portion 1. It is important that the resin (II) layer is harder and more heat resistant than the resin (I) layer that basically constitutes the fastener member. Usually, the hardness difference between Resin II and Resin I is 5 ° or more. The reinforcement layer 3 made of this resin (II) is a resin layer that is harder and has heat resistance because it is used to reinforce the roots of the soft base plate and the engaging piece and to improve heat resistance and board strength. It is necessary. It is desirable that the elastic modulus does not decrease even at high temperatures. In the present invention, the high temperature softening degree (K), which is expressed as the ratio of the elastic modulus at room temperature to the elastic modulus at a temperature of 50 ° C. or higher, is used as an index showing such properties. That is, this high temperature softening degree (K)
In that, that of resin (II) (KII) must be lower than that of resin (I) (KI), ie K
It was found that I / KII needs to be 1.1 or more, and more preferably 1.2 or more. If KI / KII is less than 1.1, there is no reinforcing effect with the resin (II). Needless to say, the resin (II) preferably has good adhesion and compatibility with the resin (I). Such a resin (II) may be selected from resins different from the resin (I), and resins of the same type may be used as long as hardness and heat resistance can be improved by reducing the plasticizer. May be used.

FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 show an example in which the resin (II) layer is formed into multiple layers. As shown in FIG. 1 or FIG. 2 (c), the multi-layered structure may be formed by inserting the reinforcing layer 3 of the resin (II) into the center of the substrate portion 1, that is, in a sandwich form so as to form a core layer. As shown in FIGS. 2 (a) and 2 (b), the structure may be such that the back surface portion or the front surface portion of the substrate portion 1 is laminated or embedded. The reinforcing layer 3 made of the resin (II) is not limited to the plate shape, and may be a grid shape or a net shape as shown in FIG.

A method of manufacturing the molded surface fastener member of the present invention by composite extrusion molding will be described. First, the resins (I) and (II) melted by the two extruders are extruded through a composite die, and are received by a sizing introduction device so as not to destroy the shape thereof, and enter the sizing processing unit while being cooled. In the sizing processing section, a resin mold is formed while being formed by a cooling mold or cooling water having a ridge that is inserted into a gap between adjacent engaging pieces of the molded surface fastener member, and processed so as to be a stable mold. . Then, the molded body is cut into an appropriate length or wound up as a long product. Of course, when the reinforcement layer 3 is compositely integrated at the extrusion discharge port of the die without coextrusion molding of the resins (I) and (II) as described above, or after the reinforcement layer 3 is molded into a surface fastener member. When the back surface is laminated and integrated, the extruder of resin (II) in the case of the above coextrusion molding is not necessary.

The molded surface fastener member of the present invention has the following characteristic actions due to the above configuration. (1) Since the engaging piece is not made of a hard material and is made of a material having an appropriate degree of flexibility, one molded surface fastener with the two molded surface fastener members made of the engaging piece locked and integrated. The position of the member also moves slightly in the lateral direction. (2) Since the engaging piece is not made of a hard material but is made of a material having an appropriate degree of flexibility, it has good flexibility as a surface fastener member. (3) It has good flexibility as a surface fastener member and can be easily applied to a site where bending of a curved surface is required for attachment or attachment, and workability in connection construction of objects is extremely excellent. There is. (4) Since the attachment portion of the surface fastener member to the object is formed of a material having an appropriate degree of flexibility, it has excellent mountability to the object. (5) The engaging piece is formed of a material having an appropriate degree of flexibility, but since the base portion of the base of the engaging piece is hardened with a hard and heat-resistant reinforcing layer, the two hook-and-loop fastener members in the locked state. Holds a large locking strength in the lateral direction and the latching direction similarly to the surface fastener material formed of a hard material. (6) Since the substrate portion of the surface fastener member is hardened by the hard and heat-resistant reinforcement layer, it has heat resistance and the engaging force does not decrease even when the temperature rises, and the substrate portion of the surface fastener member is strong. And the growth is also small. (7) One of the two molded surface fastener members can be freely moved in the vertical direction in a state where the two molded surface fastener members are locked and integrated.

FIG. 4 is a partial enlarged cross-sectional view for explaining in more detail the respective parameter relationships relating to the engaging pieces of the molded surface fastener member of the present invention. In the present surface fastener member, the rail-shaped engaging piece 2 has a specific height (H) on one surface of the substrate portion 1, and the bulging head cross section of the engaging piece has a specific width. Has been set up. The height (A) from the straight line (L) that is in contact with the lower end of the bulging head of the engaging piece 2 and is parallel to the board portion 1 to the top of the engaging piece 2 is a straight line (L) from the surface of the board portion 1. ) Up to (E) [hereinafter referred to as sleeve height], the maximum width of the cross section of the engagement piece 2 (B), the base plate portion that contacts the outermost end of the cross-section expansion head of the engagement piece 2. The distance from the point (X) where the straight line perpendicular to 1 intersects the straight line (L) to the contact of the straight line extending in parallel with the substrate portion 1 with the engaging piece 2 (D
/ 2) [D = B-W, hereinafter referred to as sleeve width], the engaging piece 2
When the gap formed between the bulging head of the above and the bulging head of the adjacent engaging piece 2 is (S) and the spacing between the engaging pieces 2 is (B + S), these have specific relationships. By having the fastener member, the flexibility of the fastener member is improved, the locking strength in the specific direction is improved, and the looseness in the lateral direction is exhibited when the two molded surface fastener members are locked and integrated, Furthermore, its engaging properties such as improvement of the flexibility in the vertical direction,
It is possible to obtain a molded surface fastener member which is superior in mountability and whose mounting position can be adjusted more easily.

The parameters (A), (B), (D),
The relationship between (E) and (S) and (W) is the force (pressing force) at the time of locking and fixing the two molded surface fastener members, and the separation of the two molded surface fastener members that are closely fixed. Force (shear and latch engagement force) and the degree of freedom of the two molded surface fastener members in the locked state are important requirements.

In order to smoothly lock the two molded surface fastener members and to prevent an excessive clearance in the locked and integrated state, first, the engagements provided upright on the surface of the substrate portion 1 are performed. The height (A) from the straight line (L) that is in contact with the lower end of the bulging head of the piece 2 and is parallel to the substrate to the top of the engaging piece,
It is preferable that the relationship between the double-width of the sleeve width (D) and the sleeve height (E) satisfies the following expression (1). A ≦ E ≦ A + 1.2D (1) The sleeve height (E) is from the height (A) from the straight line (L) parallel to the board 1 to the top of the engagement piece 2 If it is too small, it will be difficult to smoothly lock and integrate the two molded surface fastener members, and even if two molded surface fastener members are locked and integrated, lateral adjustment will be difficult. Also, from the straight line (L) where the sleeve height (E) is parallel to the board, to the engaging piece 2
If the value obtained by adding 1.2D to the height (A) up to the top of the sheet is exceeded, when the two molded surface fastener members are locked and integrated, the engaging pieces 2, 2, 2, ... It is difficult to say that the clearance is large and the locking is integrated. Further, the distance between the board portions and the deviation of the flatness are large, and the engaging pieces are prone to fall, so that the engaging pieces are easily disengaged.

The width (B) of the bulging head cross section of the engaging piece 2, that is, the straight line that is in contact with the left and right outermost ends of the bulging head of the engaging piece 2 in cross section is the straight line (L). The distance between the intersecting points (X) and (X) is 1.5 to 5 mm, usually 1.7.
~ 4.5 mm is preferred. If the maximum width (B) of the cross section of the engaging piece 2 is less than 1.5 mm, it becomes difficult to stably form a bulging head having a good shape. On the other hand, if it exceeds 5 mm, the space is increased and the expansion head is easily deformed, so that the locking is easily released.

In order to smoothly engage the engagement piece 2 with the engagement piece of the mating surface fastener member on the other side and to maintain the stable engagement state, the width of the expanded head cross section of the engagement piece 2 (B),
It is preferable that the under-sleeve height (E) and the gap (S) formed between the bulging head of the engaging piece and the bulging head of the adjacent engaging piece satisfy the following expression (2). 0.45B ≦ S ≦ 0.9B (2) If the gap (S) is less than 0.45 times the maximum width (B) of the cross section of the bulging head of the engaging piece 2, the sectional bulging will occur. It is difficult to smoothly fit the head-shaped engagement piece 2 into the gap provided in the mating engagement piece 2. On the other hand, when the gap (S) exceeds 0.9 times the maximum width (B) of the cross section of the bulging head of the engaging piece 2, the two molded surface fastener members that are locked and integrated may have some load fluctuations such as vibrations. It becomes easy to come off easily during installation adjustment work.

Further, the two molded surface fastener members can be easily locked and integrated, and when the two molded surface fastener members are locked, the bending property is good in the engaged state and the lateral movement is slightly moved. To do this, double the sleeve width, ie (D)
It is preferable that the interval (B + S) between the engaging pieces satisfies the following (3) and (4). 0.1 (B + S) ≦ D ≦ 0.45 (B + S) ···· (3) 1.2W ≦ S ····・ ・ ・ ・ ・ (4) 2 if the width under the sleeve (D) is less than 10% of the space between the engaging pieces 2
It becomes difficult to lock the molded surface fastener members. On the other hand, when it exceeds 45%, the lateral movement distance when the two molded surface fastener members are locked becomes large and the locked state becomes unstable. Further, an appropriate gap is required in the locked state, and it is preferable that S is set to be about 20% wider than the sleeve width of the engaging piece.

The thickness (W) of the pillar (leg) of the engaging piece 2 erected on one surface of the substrate 1 is usually 0.3 to 3 mm,
It is preferably 0.5 to 2.5 mm. If the thickness of the leg is less than 0.3 mm, it is easy to deform and it is difficult to stably form the engaging piece 2 having a good cross-section expansion head, the strength of the engaging piece is weakened, and the engagement is easily performed by an external force. It may come off. On the other hand, if the thickness exceeds 3 mm, the wall thickness is poor, the balance with the sleeve is poor, the engaging property and the moldability are deteriorated, the space is further increased, and the locking efficiency is reduced.

The height (H) to the top of the engaging piece 2 erected on the surface of the substrate 1 is usually 1.0 to 5 mm. It is preferably 5 to 4.5 mm. Height (H) is 1.
If it is less than 0 mm, it becomes difficult to stably mold the engaging piece 2 having a good bulging cross section. Further, even if it could be molded, the engagement piece 2 is small, and the clearance is insufficient.
It becomes difficult to smoothly lock and adjust the engagement pieces 2 of the molded surface fastener members. If the height (H) exceeds 5 mm, the positional deviation from the object to be mounted is large and the locking space is increased, and the parallelism between the engaging piece 2 and the board portion 1 that are locked to each other is extremely poor. As a result, the balance of engagement is lost, and the locking is easily released by an external force or the like.

The thickness (T) of the substrate portion 1 is usually 0.3 to 5 m.
m, preferably 0.5 to 3 mm is suitable. Board part 1
If the thickness is less than 0.3 mm, the molded surface fastener member may be bent, resulting in poor handleability. Further, since the board portion 1 is easily bent and the engaging piece is easily rubbed, the locking may be released when the two molded surface fastener members are locked and integrated. When the thickness of the substrate portion 1 exceeds 5 mm, the mounting space between the objects to be mounted increases, the amount of resin used increases, the cost increases, and the moldability deteriorates. The thickness (T) of the leg portion of the substrate portion 1 and the thickness (W) of the engaging piece 2 provided upright on one surface of the substrate portion 1 are the shape of the surface fastener member, the performance, the hardness of the resin used, and the bending. It is appropriately determined according to the elastic modulus, and the thickness method and shape can be appropriately changed as necessary.

The molded surface fastener member of the present invention is sewn,
It can be attached directly to the object by tacky adhesion, tacker, ultrasonic wave, high frequency, etc. Further, for example, the molded surface fastener member can be easily attached to the object by providing other locking means such as a hook on a part of the substrate portion or by providing the locking means on the back surface of the substrate portion. Further, when the molded surface fastener member is attached to the front surface of the object, an adhesive or an adhesive can be applied to the back surface of the substrate portion. In this case, the surface fastener member needs to be covered with a release paper on the surface of the adhesive or the adhesive layer applied to the back surface of the substrate (ear) in a state before being attached and used.

It is preferable that the engaging piece 2 has a smooth top. If the top portion of the engagement piece 2 is formed in an arc shape, for example, even if the second molded surface fastener member abuts the first molded surface fastener member at an angle, the second molded surface fastener member is formed. When the surface of the molded surface fastener is pressed, the second molded surface fastener member slides in parallel with the engaging element piece of the first molded surface fastener member to easily lock and integrate the two molded surface fastener members. It can be done.

The engaging piece of the first embodiment has the above (1) to (1).
It satisfies the formula (4) and has practical performance as a molded surface fastener member. However, the engaging pieces of Reference Example 1 are of the formula (1), and the engaging pieces of Reference Examples 2 and 3 are (2).
Since the engaging pieces of the formula and Reference Example 4 do not satisfy the formulas (3) and (4), there are practical problems as a molded surface fastener member as shown in Table 1. Comparative Example 1 is a case in which a hard and heat-resistant reinforcing layer is not used, and it does not serve as a fastener member intended in the present invention.
