Description of the Related Art As shown in FIG. 3, a conventional capacitance type level sensor of this type has a pair of opposed electrodes, that is, an outer cylinder 1 made of metal and an inner cylinder made of metal arranged concentrically therewith. The inner cylinder 2 is composed of a main sensor 3 and a reference sensor 4. The main sensor 3 and the reference sensor 4 are formed with the same radius, and are mechanically attached to the outer cylinder 1 by a supporting member 5 made of an insulating material. Cables 6 and 7 are drawn out from the main sensor 3 and the reference sensor 4, respectively. Reference numeral 8 is a stopper for connecting the cables 6 and 7 to the main sensor 3 and the reference sensor 4.

It is possible to know the height of the liquid surface between the both 1 and 2 by performing the detection. The inner cylinder 2 is composed of the main sensor 3 and the reference sensor 4, and the relative dielectric constant depending on the composition of the liquid, the temperature, etc. is measured to form a level sensor having good linearity.

It is necessary to fix the sensors 3 and 4 to the outer cylinder 1 via the support members 5, respectively, which requires a large number of support members 5, and there is a problem that the attachment work of them is troublesome. In addition, the cables 6 and 7 must be pulled out from the sensors 3 and 4, respectively.

案したたものである。In the case of a liquid tank mounted on a moving body such as an aircraft, the liquid level in the tank also tilts due to the tilting of the moving body. In this case, depending on the mounting position of the electrostatic capacity type level sensor with respect to the tank, the liquid level in this sensor rises or falls, so that there is a problem that one sensor cannot accurately detect the level of the liquid level. . Of course, the position where the liquid level does not change due to the inclination of the tank, for example, when the tank is a cylinder, may be installed by aligning the center of the sensor with the center line, but in this case, the mounting position is strictly selected. There are points. Therefore, conventionally, it is necessary to use an inclination detection sensor such as a gyro, an accelerometer, and an inclinometer, and to correct the output of the capacitance type level sensor based on the detection output from this to calculate an accurate liquid level. Alternatively, it is necessary to accurately calculate the liquid level by installing a plurality of capacitance type level sensors in the tank.
The present invention solves these problems and proposes a capacitance type level sensor which can expect the same operation as the conventional one with a simple structure.

Therefore, this type of level sensor is simple. It is offered at low cost. Further, since the main sensor 3 is divided into a plurality of main sensor portions 3A, 3B, 3C, it is more accurate than the change in the capacitance between each main sensor portion 3A, 3B, 3C and the electrode 1 due to the inclination of the tank. The amount of liquid can be measured. Further, the insulating film 12 is provided on each of the sensors 3 and 4, and the measurement can be performed regardless of conductivity or non-conductivity. Further conductive film 1
It is also possible to know the type of liquid from 1.

The upper edge of the is also extended to the convex portions 10a and 10b, and here is formed as a terminal portion 11a. The main sensor 3, the reference sensor 4, and the conductive film 11 can be formed of a conductive material by a conventionally known electroless plating or printing method. An insulating film 12 is deposited on each of the main sensor 3 and the reference sensor 4. The insulating film 12 can be formed by applying the resin material by coating or painting. The insulating film 12 is not applied on the conductive film 11. The inner cylinder 2 is constructed in this manner.

あるからその説明を省略する。When such a capacitance type level sensor is installed in the liquid tank, liquid such as gasoline enters between the outer cylinder 1 and the inner cylinder 2, and the tank is determined based on the capacitance value between the two. It is needless to say that the height of the inner liquid surface, that is, the liquid amount can be measured, but in this case, since the main sensor 3 is divided into a plurality of parts, when the tank is tilted, the respective sensor parts 3A to 3C differ from each other. Since the measured value is output, the inclination of the tank can be detected from this, and the liquid amount can be calculated more accurately than the detected value related to this inclination. This calculation method is the same as that in the case where a plurality of sensors are installed in a conventional tank and an accurate liquid amount is calculated from the measured values from these sensors, and therefore the description thereof is omitted.

The liquid level in the tank can be measured regardless of whether the liquid is conductive or non-conductive. Although the reference sensor 4 is provided below one main sensor unit in the above description, it may be provided below two or more main sensor units.

Since the inner cylinder 2 can be constructed by simply applying the insulating film 12 thereon by painting or the like, the inner cylinder 2 can be easily manufactured. In addition, when the inner cylinder 2 is attached to the outer cylinder 1, the number of the supporting members 5 can be gradually reduced as compared with the conventional case of FIG. Further, since the main sensor 3 is divided into a plurality of parts, even if the tank is tilted, there is an effect that the single sensor can accurately measure the liquid amount. Further, since the conductive film 11 is provided, there is an effect that it is possible to immediately know whether or not the liquid in the tank has conductivity. Further, since the insulating film 12 is deposited on the main sensor 3 and the reference sensor 4, there is an effect that the liquid level of the liquid in the tank can be measured regardless of whether the liquid is conductive or non-conductive.
