BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, as a gel-like aromatic agent, a water gel type using water as a solvent and agar, carrageenan, etc. as a gelling agent is used.
It was the mainstream of commercial air fresheners. However, water-gel type fragrances show syneresis in long-term storage, and
Since it is water-based, not only are there restrictions on the fragrances that can be blended, but there are also problems with the fragrance quality and the durability of its strength.

On the other hand, in order to make up for the drawbacks of the water gel type, a non-aqueous oil gel type fragrance containing terpene hydrocarbon and sodium fatty acid as main components has been developed. However, alkyl and conventional non-aqueous gel-like aromatic agents have not been sufficient to solve the above problems. JP-A-60-53148 discloses a method for solving this problem by gelling terpene hydrocarbons with sodium stearate, using diethylene glycol or dipropylene glycol as a solubility improver for sodium stearate. A method of doing so is disclosed. However, in this method, a separation phenomenon occurs in which a liquid substance is separated from the gel during long-term storage. Further, since the solvent that can be used is limited to terpene-based hydrocarbons, there is a problem that the fragrances that can be compounded are restricted by the influence of the fragrance peculiar to terpene-based hydrocarbons.

The solvent of the component (A) functions as a transpiration carrier for the perfume component, and it is necessary that it has appropriate volatility and does not have an offensive odor. As the component (A), the boiling point is 150 to 220 ° C.
The terpene-based hydrocarbons or acyclic non-terpene-based hydrocarbons are used.

If the boiling point is less than 150 ° C, volatilization will be rapid and it will be difficult to control the intensity of the scent. On the other hand, if it exceeds 220 ° C., volatilization becomes too slow and the potency of the fragrance is insufficient, which is not preferable.

Since the acyclic non-terpene hydrocarbon does not have a fragrance peculiar to itself unlike the terpene hydrocarbon, there is no restriction on the blended fragrance and a desired fragrance can be used. According to the composition of the present invention using a nonionic surfactant as a solubilizing agent, a good gel can be obtained using this acyclic non-terpene hydrocarbon as a solvent. The combination of sodium stearate and diethylene glycol cannot gelate acyclic non-terpene hydrocarbons.

The nonionic surfactant as the component (D) serves to improve the solubility of sodium fatty acid. Examples of the nonionic surfactant include polyoxyethylene alkyl ether and polyoxyethylene alkylphenyl ether. Particularly, from the viewpoint of fragrance and solubility of fatty acid sodium, the average carbon number of the alkyl group is 8 to 18 and ethylene oxide A polyoxyethylene sec-alkyl ether having an average number of added moles of 5 to 15 or a polyoxyethylene alkylphenyl ether having an average number of carbon atoms of an alkyl group of 7 to 12 and an average number of addition moles of ethylene oxide of 7 to 20 is preferable.

Further, it becomes possible to keep the scent of the gel-like air freshener composition constant for a long time, and it is possible to use a solvent which does not have an aroma peculiar to itself, such as an acyclic non-terpene hydrocarbon. Since it is possible, all kinds of fragrances can be added without impairing the fragrance of the fragrance itself.
