Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a detector with a plug which can output an electric signal from its plug-connection structure and, at the same time, has such a simple structure that can reduce its manufacturing man-hour and improve reliability. CONSTITUTION:Lead-out conductors 2 and 3 which receive an electric signal from a detecting section 1 are integrally molded with terminal conductors 2 and 3 and, at the same time, the front end sections of the conductors 2 and 3 are formed to the blade sections 21 and 31 of a plug. When the plug is constituted in such a way, the electric signal outputted from the detecting section 1 can be transmitted to the conductor fittings of the receptacle (plug socket) into which the blade sections 21 and 31 are inserted by means of the single lead-out conductors/terminal conductors 2 and 3.

However, in the signal output structure of the detector as described above, it is necessary to solder the lead-out conductor pair and the conductor wire pair of the signal external output cable, and usually the soldering is performed. It is necessary to insulate this soldered portion later. Such a complicated process cannot be overlooked in terms of work man-hours and costs, or there is a problem in reliability of the attachment part.

In order to solve these problems, the present applicant attaches a plug to the detector, which is known as a male part of a so-called plug-in connector, and the terminal conductor of this plug is provided inside the detector. I realized that it would be better to make an electrical connection to the lead-out conductor. In this way, a plug receiver (a female part of a so-called plug-in type connector, which is usually called an outlet) connected to one end of a signal external output cable having a required length is inserted into this plug. The connection can be completed only by itself, and it is extremely convenient in various points.

However, in this case, although the electrical connection between the signal external output cable and the detector is free, the terminal conductor of the insertion plug, so-called terminal, and the lead conductor must be electrically connected. As a result, it was found that the number of connection points was increased, which was not effective in terms of reduction of man-hours and cost. The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and provides a detector with an insertion plug, which is capable of outputting an electric signal by an insertion connection structure, has a simple structure, and can reduce man-hours and improve reliability. That is the purpose.

According to this structure, the electric signal output from the detecting portion is transmitted to the conductor of the plug receptacle (outlet) inserted into the blade portion by the single lead conductor / terminal conductor. Further, also in the production, since the lead-out conductor as the signal lead-out member of the detector and the terminal conductor of the insertion plug can be produced all at once and the connection thereof can be omitted, the man-hour and the production cost can be reduced and the reliability can be improved. The excellent effect that it can be achieved can be exhibited.

The operation of the level sensor of this embodiment will be described below. The outlet (not shown) is inserted into the connector 4, and a pair of terminal fittings of the outlet are used to connect the upper ends of the rod-shaped terminals 2 and 3, that is, the blade portion 2 of the insertion plug.
When the NTC thermistor 1 is energized by sandwiching 1 and 31 individually, the NTC thermistor 1 generates heat. Since the resistance value of the NTC thermistor has a correlation with the temperature, when the liquid level rises on the NTC thermistor 1 and oil comes into contact with it, the current value changes, and the liquid level is detected.
