Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the structure and prevent a visual recognition angle from being spoiled by providing a light shielding louver which is made thin from the root part to the tip of a light shield plate. CONSTITUTION:The light shielding louver 25 is provided with a base part 27, light shield plates 29 which are projected in stages almost horizontally from the base 27 and made thin from the tip part side to the tip of the base 27, and transparent covers 31 which have curved surfaces connected from the tip sides of the upper light shield plates 29 to the root parts of the lower light shield plates 29, and a hole 33 that a screw 21 penetrating the through hole 11a of the display panel engages threadably is formed in the base 27. The upper sides of the light shield plates 29 are coated with paint which absorbs light. In this case, the light shield plates 29 are made thin toward the tip parts, so the visual recognition angle theta2 can be made larger than the visual recognition angle theta1 of light shield plates 29 which are not thin and display brightness is prevented from decreasing to make an easy-to-see display. The structure of the light shield plates 19 is simple and the light shield plates are easily manufactured; and the screw hole 33 formed in the base 27 may be provided at any position of the base 27.

示ユニット収納枠体7を支持する支柱15とで構成され
ている。

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 複数個の表示素子が所定の間隔で縦横に
配列して構成される表示面パネルと、この表示面パネル
に取り付けられる基部と、この基部から略水平に多段に
突出された遮光板とが一体に成形された遮光用ルーバー
を備えた表示装置において、前記遮光板の根元部分から
先端に向けて厚みを薄くしたことを特徴とする表示装
置。
