[Industrial Field of Application] The present invention relates to a hardening glue material for root canal filling used in dental treatment. [Prior art] The root canal filling operation in dental treatment is to protect the root end wound by applying a root canal filling material to the empty root canal system after pulp extraction or infected root canal treatment. , aimed at healing. Therefore, it can be said that such treatment as a pre-stage to dental prosthetic treatment is one of the most frequently used treatment methods in general dentistry clinical practice. By the way, various root canal filling materials have been used for this kind of treatment, but these are mainly therapeutic glue-based materials (e.g., calcium hydroxide-based glue), and physical adhesives. It can be divided into solid types (e.g. Gatsuta percha point) that mainly block the air. However, even with a solid root canal filling material, in order to securely seal the root end, it is necessary to perform root canal filling in combination with a type of sealing material called a sealer. Furthermore, among sealers, there is a type that hardens after a certain period of time after being kneaded and is called a hardened solid (cement type) root canal filling material. [Problems to be solved by the invention] Among these, conventionally known cement-type root canal filling materials contain zinc oxide as the main component.
Zinc oxide eugenol cement, in which eugenol is mixed with this, has been widely used. However, zinc oxide eugenol cement is said to have a certain degree of tissue irritation to the tissues surrounding the root tip, and cannot be said to be satisfactory as a so-called biological root canal filling material. [Means for solving the problem] In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, hydroxyapatite, which is known as an inorganic component of biological hard tissues such as teeth and bones, has recently been used in dentistry due to its excellent biocompatibility. Although it has been applied to implants, artificial bones, etc., the present inventors have conducted various studies on the effects of hydroxyapatite on living organisms, particularly on the dental pulp and tissues surrounding the root end.
It has been discovered that a root canal filling material containing hydroxyapatite as a main component has high clinical application value, and a first material comprising calcium hydroxide as an active ingredient and an X-ray contrast material added thereto; A second product whose main ingredient is guaiacol or eugenol
The present invention aims to provide a two-material type root canal filling material consisting of two materials. [Structure of the Invention] The structure of the first material in the hardening glue material for root canal filling of the present invention is that hydroxyapatite is blended in an amount of 40 to 60% by weight based on the total weight of the first material, and calcium hydroxide is blended in the same amount as the first material. The amount is 15 to 20% by weight based on the total weight of one material, and it is also possible to use magnesium oxide instead of calcium hydroxide. On the other hand, guaiacol, which makes up the second material, has a molecular weight of 35 to 60%.
Blend in weight%. Note that essential oils such as eugenol or clove oil may be used instead of guaiacol. Further, as an X-ray contrast material, an appropriate amount of iodoform, barium sulfate, etc. is mixed. The hardening glue material for root canal filling according to the present invention is used by kneading the first material and the second material as described above, and the mixing ratio of the first material and the second material is determined depending on the desired finished state. However, according to trial results, a kneading state of 3:1 (weight ratio) was optimal. Although the main material completely hardens in the oral cavity in about 20 minutes after kneading, the hardening time can be adjusted as appropriate by changing the formulation of the second material. Next, adhesion to the inner wall of a root canal was tested using the adhesive of the present invention, and the results were as follows. (Evaluation) The glue material according to the present invention was applied to 150 mandibular premolars of 15 adult dogs.
It was applied to root canals, sacrificed 3 months later, and histopathologically examined, and the results shown in Table 1 were obtained. As is clear from Table 1, all of the glue materials made from these tissues promoted biological healing of the root tip and had excellent effects as root canal filling materials. Next, the present invention will be specifically explained using examples. Example 1. First material formulation (powder) Hydroxyapatite 40% Calcium hydroxide 17.5% Zinc oxide 20% Magnesium oxide 2.5% Iodoform 20%

As described above, the root canal filling material according to the present invention has hydroxyapatite as its main component, so it has excellent compatibility with living tissue, has little tissue irritation, and is easy to fill into root canals. In this case, it can be expected that the healing of the tissues surrounding the root end will be promoted and that the root end will eventually be able to close. In addition, in cases involving alveolar bone resorption, the filling material that overflows outside the root foramen is included in new bone as the area heals, and it has excellent properties such as serving as a prosthetic material for bone defects. be effective. Furthermore, the filler of the present invention is composed of a first material made of powder and a second material made of liquid. It is extremely useful as a sealer for root canal filling in combination with Gatsuta Percha Points, as it completely hardens in the oral cavity in about 20 minutes after cleaning. In addition, because it contains iodoform, barium sulfate, etc., it has appropriate X-ray contrast properties, and the state of root canal filling can be easily confirmed, resulting in excellent root canal filling effects. can.
