Since the electrical components housed in the outdoor unit of the conventional air conditioner are configured as described above, the temperature inside the electrical component room rises due to a reactor that generates a large amount of heat. However, there is a concern that the amount of ventilation will be insufficient in the overloaded state. Also, since the reactor and the electronic control board are adjacent to each other, the magnetism of the reactor may adversely affect the electronic control board.Because the capacitor and the noise filter are arranged close to the electronic control board, In particular, there has been a problem that serviceability such as inspection and replacement of the electronic control board is deteriorated.

Further, during operation in rainy weather, rainwater is scattered in the centrifugal direction of rotation of the blower as the blower rotates, and violently hits the side plate of the electrical equipment box arranged at a right angle to this centrifugal direction. However, there was a problem in that the electric vehicle passed through the exhaust duct and entered the electrical component box through the exhaust hole, resulting in an electric leakage accident.

Further, according to claim 4 of the present invention, in the outdoor unit in which the electric unit box having the compressor, the blower, the heat exchanger, the inverter circuit and the like contained therein is housed, the outside air suction formed on the rear surface of the outdoor unit body. A mouth, a suction hole provided in a side plate of the electric component box, a suction duct opened downward to cover the suction hole, and the outside air suction port,
In addition, the temperature of the inflowing outside air itself is set because the outside air ventilation duct that is erected on the outer periphery of the capillary tube and that is connected to the suction duct is connected to the outside air ventilation duct, and the exhaust duct that opens to the blower room side of the electrical component box The cooling effect is high compared to the conventional one because the mechanism is such that after cooling down, it flows into the electrical equipment room, and especially when overloaded, the effect is great.
