(Prior Art) Conventionally, the equipment configuration of long steel rolling equipment is as shown in FIG.
A primary cooling bed 3, a cold shear 4, an inspection/counting device 5, a binding machine 6, and a shipping conveyor 7 are arranged in series.

In this type of equipment, the temperature range when cutting the long steel 8 with the cold shear 4 is as follows:
However, in equipment that rolls special steel, shear cracks may occur when cutting at low temperatures, so the cutting temperature range is 300 to 600°C, which is higher than the cutting temperature range for normal materials.
It is cut at a warm temperature.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, such warm cutting has the disadvantage that the material must be handled at high temperatures in the refining equipment, resulting in a very poor working environment. Furthermore, when the finishing work is carried out at high temperatures, the product tends to bend during the working process, which has the disadvantage of requiring a lot of off-line straightening work. Furthermore, measures against high heat such as sensors and tags were also required.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The technical means taken by the present invention to achieve the above object are that a primary cooling bed 3 is installed downstream of the rolling mill 1 to primarily cool the bar 8; A cutting machine 4 warm-cuts the long steel bar 8 that has been warmly cooled to 300 to 600°C, which is higher than the cutting temperature range of ordinary materials, on the primary cooling bed 3, and inspects and bundles the cut steel bar 8. In the long steel rolling equipment in which the refining devices 5 and 6 are sequentially arranged, a secondary cooling bed 9 is provided to cool the long steel 8 warm cut by the cutting machine 4 to the same level as normal material. be.

(Function) The long steel bar 8 rolled by the rolling mill 1 is first cooled in the primary cooling bed 3 to a temperature of 300 to 600°C, which is higher than the cutting temperature range of ordinary materials (about 200 to 300°C), and then cut. It is warm cut by the machine 4 and sent to the secondary cooling bed 9. The warm-cut steel bar 8 is secondarily cooled here to the same level as ordinary material, and then sent to the finishing devices 5 and 6 where it is inspected, bundled, and the like.

(Example) Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the illustrated example. Components with the same names as those in FIG. 3 are given the same reference numerals and their explanations will be omitted. FIG. 1 shows one embodiment, and in the same figure, 9 is a secondary cooling bed, which is provided between the conveyor 10 downstream of the cold shear 4 and the conveyor 11 upstream of the inspection/counting device 5. This allows the feeding speed by the drive device 12 to be controlled in order to cool the bar 8 to a predetermined temperature. That is, by controlling the drive device 12, the cooling rate of the bar 8 in the secondary cooling bed 9 can be set arbitrarily. Secondary cooling bed 9
On the inlet side of the bar, a pitch jamming device 13 is installed to narrow the spacing between the bars 8 in order to increase the cooling efficiency by increasing the residence time in the secondary cooling bed 9. Further, on the exit side of the secondary cooling bed 9, a forced cooling device 14 using water, air, mist, etc. is installed in order to increase the cooling rate.

According to the above configuration, in the case of special steel, bar steel 8
is cooled in the primary cooling bed 3 to a temperature of 300 to 600°C, which is higher than the cutting temperature range of ordinary materials (about 200 to 300°C). The long steel bar 8 that has been warm cut by the cold shear 4 is taken from the conveyor 10 to the secondary cooling bed 9 via the pinching device 13, and is conveyed while being secondarily cooled by this cooling bed 9. . Then, on the exit side of the cooling bed 9, the bar 8 is forcedly cooled by the forced cooling device 14,
After reaching the desired predetermined temperature, the conveyor 11
sent to. Therefore, the temperature of the product entering the inspection/counting device 5 can always be the same as that of normal material even when it is warmly cut by the cold shear 4.

FIG. 2 shows another embodiment, in which conveyors 10,1

In this case, the secondary cooling beds 9a, 9
The long steel 8 can be conveyed via the steel bar 8, but in the case of normal material, it can be directly sent from the conveyor 10 to the conveyor 11 as shown by the dotted line without passing through the secondary cooling beds 9a and 9b. As a result, equipment operating costs become economical.

なお、切断機はシヤー以外のものでも良い。 Note that the cutting machine may be other than a shear.

(Effect of the invention) According to the present invention, a long steel bar cut at a warm temperature of 300 to 600°C, which is higher than the cutting temperature range of ordinary materials, is cooled to the same level as ordinary materials in a secondary cooling bed and refined. Since the product is sent to the finishing equipment, the temperature of the product carried into the finishing equipment is the same as that of regular material, allowing for stable work. In addition, since long steel bars cut at warm temperatures can be handled at low temperatures, there is less bending of the product.
Off-line correction work is reduced. Moreover, the refining equipment can be used for cold processing, and there is no need for high heat countermeasures such as sensors and tags. Furthermore, since it is handled at a low temperature, there is an advantage that the environment for workers is improved.
