2. Description of the Related Art As a conventional separating device for a diazo copying machine, for example, one disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 43-27426 is known. This one has a document suction plate and a photosensitive paper suction plate which face each other, and when the superposed document and photosensitive paper are passed between the document suction plate and the photosensitive paper suction plate, they are sucked and separated by the suction plate side. It is supposed to be done. Many of the originals used in the above-described diazo copying machine are not flat, for example, those having curls on the front side (commonly called face curls) and curls on the back side (commonly called back curls). When such a non-flat original is passed through the separating device having the above-described configuration, there is a problem that separation is uncertain because no measures are taken against curling. For the purpose of eliminating such a problem, for example, the one described in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 63-4215, which is provided with a pressing force assisting member for pressing the superposed original and the photosensitive paper against the original suction plate side near the entrance of the separating device, A method disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 44-8865 is proposed in which the document suction plate side is arranged upstream of the photosensitive paper suction side in the paper conveying direction so that the document and the photosensitive paper are easily sucked to the document suction side.
