Conventional hydroponic cultivation involves growing the roots of the plant in a hydroponic solution, but equipment costs and running costs are high, a large amount of hydroponic solution is required, and the roots are constantly immersed in the hydroponic solution. Since the roots are soaked, they are relatively susceptible to diseases, and of course, it is not possible to directly control pests and diseases on the roots themselves. The applicant company proposes a hydroponic cultivation method that eliminates these drawbacks by sowing seeds, planting bulbs, or transplanting seedlings on the outer surface of the cultivation pipe, pouring a hydroponic solution into the cultivation pipe, and applying it to the cultivation pipe. Focusing on the fact that cultivating the plant by exuding it on the outer surface of the road is economical with relatively low equipment costs and running costs, and is also advantageous in terms of cultivation management.
In an effort to provide a cultivation conduit, we developed the ceramic pipe of this invention.

The ceramic pipe 1 of the present invention has 4 to 8% siliceous ceramic porous material as a moisture absorbing material in organic clay.

It is produced by mixing organic clay with 4 to 8% siliceous ceramic porous material as a moisture absorbent and firing it at 750 to 850°C. In addition, the ceramic pipe 1 of the present invention is also
Add 10% of dried coconut fiber to organic clay as a moisture absorbent.
It can also be produced by mixing 0.8 to 1.2% of pieces cut into about mm pieces and firing at 750 to 850°C. In any case, the ceramic pipe 1 of the present invention is made by mixing organic clay with a moisture-absorbing material and firing it, and by flowing a hydroponic liquid into the pipe, the hydroponic liquid gradually penetrates into the material. It is made of the required material that oozes out onto the outer surface. The illustrated hydroponic cultivation apparatus will be described below as an example of the use of the ceramic pipe 1 of the present invention. A is a cultivation conduit in which a plurality of ceramic pipes 1 are watertightly but removably connected by a rubber belt 2. The cultivation pipe a is accommodated in a semicircular receiving groove 3 made of synthetic resin such as styrofoam or vinyl chloride, which is placed upward on the ground G. When storing the cultivation pipe a in the receiving groove body 3, a black vinyl sheet 4 is laid in the receiving groove body 3 (Fig. 2), and on the black vinyl sheet 4,
The ceramic pipe 1 of the present invention is placed (FIG. 3) and its connecting portions are sequentially fixed to form a predetermined cultivation channel a. b is a so-called seed tape made by arranging and encasing seeds 5 of the plant at required intervals (Fig. 6), and this seed tape b is placed on the upper surface of each ceramic pipe 1 of the cultivation pipe a. Then, the black vinyl sheet 4 is wrapped so as to cover this, with its left and right sides 4', 4' polymerized on the upper surface of each ceramic pipe 1, and fixed as appropriate (4th
figure). Next, germination cuts 6 are made at required intervals on both left and right sides 4', 4' of the black vinyl sheet 4 in the above-mentioned polymerized state.
is placed in a dotted state facing the seed tape b (Fig. 5). Fig. 1 is a simplified plan view of this hydroponic cultivation apparatus in which four cultivation pipes A with the above configuration are installed in parallel at required intervals.Cultivation pipes A1 and A2 are connected to connecting pipe 7. 1
Also, the cultivation pipes a3 and a4 are connected in series by a connecting pipe 72 . Reference numeral 8 indicates a tank for hydroponic liquid installed underground, 9 indicates a liquid distribution pipe connected to this tank 8 for hydroponic liquid via a pump 10, and 11 1 and 11 3 indicate a liquid distribution pipe 9 and a cultivation pipe.
A branch pipe 12 connects the inlet sides of cultivation pipes a 1 and a 3 to the hydroponic solution tank 8 via branch pipes 11 2 and 11 4 . By operating the pump 10 with the liquid pipe, the tank 8 for hydroponic liquid
The hydroponic liquid is stored in cultivation pipes a 1 and a 2 , a tank 8 for hydroponic liquid, and cultivation pipe a 3 . The flow is circulated between a 4 and the hydroponic liquid tank 8, and the amount of flow is controlled by the branch pipe 1.
The flow rate can be adjusted as appropriate by the flow rate control valves 13 connected to ports 1 1 to 11 4 . 14 is a pressure gauge, and 15 is a discharge valve connected to a discharge pipe 16 branched from the liquid distribution pipe 12 near the hydroponic liquid tank 8. The hydroponic solution oozes out onto the outer surfaces of the cultivation pipes a 1 to a 4 during the above-mentioned circulating flow. As a result, each seed 5 of the seed tape b germinates, extends outward through the germination cut 6 of the black vinyl sheet 4, and takes root on the outer surface of the cultivation channels a1 to a4 . Thereafter, according to the growth of the plant, the amount of exudation of the hydroponic solution is adjusted as appropriate by adjusting the liquid level in the cultivation pipe using the flow control valve 13, and the conventional cultivation management is carried out. conduct. The above-mentioned circulating flow of the hydroponic solution may be a constant circulating flow or an intermittent circulating flow, which may be appropriately determined and implemented in consideration of the type and growth state of the plant concerned. FIG. 7 shows a simplified situation in which the plant c is growing in the cultivation pipe a. In addition to sowing with the seed tape described above, it is also possible to plant bulbs of plants on the outer surface of cultivation conduit a by any suitable means, or to transplant seedlings grown using seedlings by any suitable means for cultivation. . In the above, the black vinyl sheet 4 covers the entire outer circumferential surface of the cultivation pipe a, including the seeds 5 of the seed tape b, the bulbs d, and the growing roots, to provide the necessary heat retention effect, and also to prevent the exuding hydroponic solution. Prevent evaporation. Harvesting a cultivated plant can be easily carried out by grasping the stem and simply pulling it up. This is because the roots can be easily peeled off from the outer surface of the cultivation pipe a by the above-mentioned pulling, and furthermore, this is because the cultivation pipe a is made of the ceramic pipe 1 having the above composition.

As is clear from the above, the ceramic pipe for hydroponic cultivation of the present invention is made by baking a mixture of organic clay and moisture absorbing material so that the hydroponic solution penetrates and oozes out. It is suitable for planting bulbs or transplanting seedlings, and for using it as a cultivation pipe in which the hydroponic liquid flowing inside the pipe oozes out onto the outer surface, and the roots of the cultivated plants can be easily peeled off from the outer surface of the pipe. It is easy to harvest and can be used repeatedly.
