PURPOSE:To improve the using conditions of an information display device by arranging a translucent liquid crystal display panel on the window of a vehicle such as a railroad vehicle, an automobile and an aircraft to make the arrangement of the large type display device possible and moreover to facilitate the watching of a display irrespective of the direction of a seat. CONSTITUTION:In a railroad vehicle, the inside of a window glass plate 2 is provided with a translucent liquid crystal display panel 3 which is transparent in the state of turning off electricity and wholly turns into black in the state of turning on that. The inside of the liquid crystal display panel 3 is provided with a translucent liquid crystal display panel 4 which is transparent in the state of turning off the electricity and displays information in the sate of turning on that. A vehicle information display device 5 is composed of the panels 3, 4, and controlled through a passenger terminal control means 12 and an image control means 13 by operating the function keys 7 and point keys 8 of a control section 6 in a passenger terminal equipment 14 to display the image of a landscape photographed by a television camera 16, a video image, a sightseeing guide and a map.
