[Background Art] Flat plate roofing materials A such as asbestos cement slate tiles are shown in Figure 4 a and b, but the surface of these materials is parallel to the direction of the eaves. A large number of grooves 2 are provided in the vertical groove pattern 3.
is formed. This vertical groove pattern 3 not only has a decorative effect but also has the function of smoothly washing away water from the surface of the flat roofing material A. Here, it is desired that the flat plate roofing material A be made lighter in order to improve workability on the roof, and the grooves 2 provided on the surface of the flat plate roofing material A contribute to this weight reduction. Become. In order to further reduce the weight of the flat roofing material A, it is being considered to provide a large number of grooves 2 on the back surface of the flat roofing material A in parallel to the eaves direction to form a vertical groove pattern 3. In addition, if the grooves 2 are provided only on the surface of the flat roofing material A, warping is likely to occur, so from this point of view as well, forming the vertical groove pattern 3 on the back surface of the flat roofing material A is being considered. . However, when the vertical groove pattern 3 is provided on the back surface of the flat roofing material A, the grooves 2 on the front surface of the flat roofing material A and the grooves 2 on the back surface match in parallel and correspond to the front and back sides. Therefore, there is a problem in that the thickness of the flat roofing material A becomes thinner in the direction of the eave ridge between the grooves 2 and 2 on the front and back surfaces, making it very easy for cracks to occur.

The roofing material body 1 is made of cement board, asbestos cement board,
It is formed of a fiber-reinforced cement board, a calcium silicate board, etc., and its external shape is not particularly limited, but for example, as shown in FIG. 1, it is formed into a rectangular shape whose width is longer than its length. A large number of grooves 2, 2, . . . are formed on the front surface 1a and the back surface 1b of the roof material body 1 by pressing or roll pressing, respectively, over almost the entire surface. Here, grooves 2 are provided on the surface 1a of the roof material body 1 in parallel to the direction of the eaves (parallel to the flow direction of rainwater) as shown in Fig. 1a, so that a vertical groove pattern 3 is formed. In addition, grooves 2 are provided on the back surface 1b of the roof material body 1 in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the eaves (direction perpendicular to the flow direction of rainwater) as shown in FIG. is formed. The grooves 2 are provided so that both ends of the longitudinal direction do not reach the edge of the roofing material main body 1, so that the thickness of the peripheral edge of the roofing material main body 1 is ensured over the entire length, and strength is ensured. It is desirable to secure it. Furthermore, the shape of the grooves 2 provided on the surface 1a of the roofing material body 1 is not limited to that shown in FIG. 1a (the grooves 2 are shown schematically in FIG. 1a); It is best to set the shape so that the uneven pattern such as wood grain or stone grain provided on roofing material A is formed by grooves 2 with a depth and width of about 0.2 to 2 mm. It is preferable to form the groove 2 in this manner.

As shown in FIG. 1, the flat plate roofing material A is formed by providing a longitudinal groove pattern 3 and a horizontal groove pattern 4 on the front surface 1a and back surface 1b of the roofing material body 1, respectively. It will be destroyed. In other words, the flat roofing materials A that are roofed parallel to the eaves are placed side by side with their side edges in contact with each other, and the side edges are aligned with the center of the flat roofing materials A that are roofed in this way, and their side end surfaces are in contact with each other. By arranging them horizontally, flat roofing material A is laid so as to straddle the adjacent flat roofing materials A and A on the lower side. In the flat plate roofing material A constructed in this way, rainwater can be guided by the grooves 2 forming the vertical groove pattern 3 on the surface and flow down smoothly. By providing grooves 2 on the back surface in addition to providing the grooves 2 on the front surface 1a, the structure on the front and back sides of the flat roofing material A is made symmetrical, preventing the flat roofing material A from warping, and the flat roofing material The mass of A is reduced not only in the grooves 2 on the front surface 1a but also in the grooves 2 on the back surface 1b, making it possible to reduce the weight and improve raw material efficiency. The grooves 2 on the back surface 1b of the flat roofing material A are provided to intersect with the grooves 2 on the front surface 1a, and the grooves 2, 2 on the front surface 1a and the back surface 1b of the flat roofing material A are parallel to each other. It is possible to prevent tread cracks from becoming extremely likely to occur due to the parallel alignment of the grooves 2, 2 on the front and back sides, as in the case where the grooves are provided. Furthermore, when a roof is covered with flat plate roofing material A, there is a risk that rainwater may infiltrate between the flat roofing materials A and A, which overlap above and below, due to capillary phenomenon. The grooves 2 forming the horizontal groove pattern 4 can prevent rainwater from entering the back side of the flat roofing material A.

[Effects of the invention] As described above, in the present invention, a vertical groove pattern is formed on the surface of the roofing material body by a large number of grooves parallel to the eave ridge direction, and a vertical groove pattern is formed on the back surface of the roofing material body perpendicular to the eave ridge direction. Since the horizontal groove pattern is formed by a large number of grooves, in addition to providing grooves on the front surface, by providing grooves on the back side, it is possible to prevent the flat roofing material from warping, and the mass of the flat roofing material is reduced by the grooves on the surface. In addition, the grooves on the back side can also be reduced to reduce weight, and the grooves on the back side of flat plate roofing materials are provided in a state that intersects with the grooves on the front side. This can prevent the occurrence of cracks that occur when the grooves on the front and back surfaces of the material are parallel to each other. Moreover, the vertical groove pattern and the horizontal groove pattern are formed so as to reach the range where the roof material body is stacked vertically when the roof material body is covered, and the vertical groove pattern and the horizontal groove pattern are arranged so as to cross each other at the top and bottom. The main body of the material is stacked one on top of the other, and the vertical groove pattern and horizontal groove pattern, which are arranged to intersect at the top and bottom, form a gap that prevents capillary action, so the longitudinal groove pattern is arranged by intersecting at the top and bottom. The presence of the gap formed by the horizontal groove pattern and the horizontal groove pattern can reliably prevent rainwater from penetrating between the flat roofing materials due to capillary action. In other words, capillary action is blocked by the grooves that make up the horizontal groove pattern, which prevents rainwater from entering the back side of the flat roofing material due to capillary action.
The vertical groove pattern provided on the surface of the flat roofing material also allows for good drainage of rainwater. Also, when stacking flat roofing materials one above the other, the flat roofing materials are brought into contact with each other vertically so that the grooves in the vertical groove pattern intersect with the grooves in the horizontal groove pattern. Even though the grooves are provided, the flat roofing material can be stably placed on top of the flat roofing material below.
