In this conventional fabric upholstery frame, the shape of the sewing machine is as shown in FIG. When using a sewing machine having an arm 3 consisting of a needle bar support part 6, a sewing machine with a size slightly shorter than the overhang stitch dimension 24 between the front end 4' of the upright part 4 and the needle drop position 8 is used. It is possible to sew any pattern that falls within this range, but there is a problem in that it is difficult to sew patterns that require larger dimensions in the front-to-back direction.

The present invention was developed in view of the above points, and its purpose is to easily sew even a pattern having a sewing area in the front and back direction larger than the overhang stitch size 24 of the sewing machine described above. An object of the present invention is to provide a fabric upholstery frame that makes it possible to do this.

A fabric upholstery frame is placed and slid on the bed, and a predetermined pattern is sewn onto a predetermined concave pattern area of the fabric provided on the fabric upholstery frame. In this case, since there is a sufficient recess on the rear side of the upholstery frame to accommodate the standing leg of the arm, even if the pattern has a sewing area in the front and back direction that is larger than the overhang sewing dimension of the sewing machine, Can be easily sewn.

The drawings showing the embodiments of the present application will be described below. In FIG. 1, reference numerals 1 to 12 indicate the construction of a conventionally known sewing machine, in which 1 is the entire sewing machine, 2 is a bed, 3 is an arm, 4,
Reference numerals 5 and 6 designate a standing leg part which is erected on the bed, a take-out part brought forward from the stand leg part, and a needle bar support part provided at the front end of the take-out part. Reference numeral 7 indicates a needle bar for supporting the sewing needle, 8 indicates the needle drop position, 9 indicates an auxiliary bed for convenient cloth handling, 10 indicates a drive member for driving the fabric stretching frame, and 11 and 12 indicate drives. It shows where a mechanism for driving the member in the X and Y directions is provided. Reference numeral 13 denotes a cloth frame made of a hard material, such as iron, the details of which are shown in FIGS. 2, 3, and 4. Further, the operation of the cloth covering frame 13 is shown in FIG. Next, in a diagram showing the cloth frame 13, 14 indicates the horizontal members on both sides, 15 indicates the front member, and the drive member 10
Any known structure can be used to connect the connector to the connector, such as using a screw 15'. Reference numeral 16 denotes a rear member, and a space 17 surrounded by these has a planar shape corresponding to the region 19 of the concave pattern 18' to be sewn as shown in FIG. This space 17 may have the same size as the area indicated by the reference numeral 19 for needle threading, but it is preferable that it has a slightly larger area. 20 is rear member 1
It is a recess formed by curving 6, and is formed wide enough for the standing leg 4 to relatively fit therein, as shown in FIG.
Next, the member indicated by the reference numeral 21 in FIG.
Apart from the case where a cloth is directly pasted on the cloth, generally, a cloth is pasted on the upper surface of this member 21 so that it can be rolled up, and the cloth is superimposed on the cloth frame 13 in a detachable manner. Note that the symbols 14a, 15a, 1
Reference numeral 6a indicates a lateral member, a front member, and a rear member which are superimposed on 14, 15, and 16 in the cloth frame, respectively. Also, the size of the needle threading space 17a is the same as that of the needle threading space 17a.
It is the same or slightly smaller than that. That is, the shape is very close to the shape of the region 19 of the concave pattern 18' to be sewn on the cloth 18 in FIG. 3. Further, the recess 20a is formed to be a large recess so as not to interfere with the role of the recess 20 in the cloth upholstery frame 13. When the fabric upholstery member 21 is attached to the fabric upholstery frame 13 in a polymeric manner, an arbitrary permanent adhesive 22 such as double-sided adhesive tape is applied between the two, and the fabric member 21 is detachably attached. In this case, the superposition can be carried out either on the upper side or the lower side of the upholstery frame 13. It is also good to arrange the cloth arbitrarily above and below. A permanent adhesive 23a is applied to this cloth member 21 in advance in order to attach the cloth so that it can be rolled up. Of course, if the fabric is to be attached directly to the fabric upholstery frame 13, it is preferable to apply a permanent adhesive to the upper or lower surface of the upholstery frame in advance, as shown by reference numeral 23.

Next, the operation will be explained. A cloth frame 13 partially attached to the drive member 10 as shown in FIG.
The cloth 18 is attached directly or via the cloth covering member 21 as shown in FIG. In this state, the cloth covering frame is moved in the X or Y direction as shown in FIG. This operation is well known, but for example, the pattern 1 drawn in the concave pattern area to be sewn, indicated by the reference numeral 19 in FIG.
8' according to a predetermined program. If the frame is coded 13f, 13g, 13h
If the sewing machine advances to the position shown in , even if the overhang stitch size 24 on the sewing machine is constant, a pattern 18' having a larger range of front-to-back dimension 25 will be sewn on the fabric attached to these frames. Can be attached. This is because the standing leg 4 of the sewing machine can enter into the recess 20h relatively largely relative to the frame position indicated by the frame position 13h.

As described above, in the present invention, the fabric upholstery frame 13 is placed and slid on the bed 2, and the area 19 of the concave pattern 18' to be sewn on the fabric 18 stretched on the fabric upholstery frame 13 is When sewing a concave pattern, this is a wonderful practical feature that allows sufficient sewing even if the longitudinal dimension 25 of the concave pattern area 19 to be sewn is larger than the overhang stitch dimension 24 of the sewing machine 1. It has the above effect.
