Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the subject pot with an excellent property in which, when hot water is supplied, its heating is continued and, when a vessel in the pot is really in a baked state, its heating is quickly stopped, by solving such a problem that, when the hot water is poured, the resultant quick rise of temperative wrongly induces a misjudgement as if the vessel is baked and the heating is stopped. CONSTITUTION:A control means 7 for turning on electricity is controlled both by a baked state-detecting means 6 which detects the quidck rising of temperature by a thermal sensor 3 brought into close contact with the outer bottom part of a vessel 2 and stops its heating, and by second timer 12 which is set when the output of a water-detecting means 11 for detecting whether water exists in the vessel 2 or not is changed from NO WATER to WATER, and outputs it only for a definite time, or by a gate means which is set when the output of the water-detecting means 11 is changed from NO WATER to WA TER and is reset by the output of a boiling-detecting means 8, and outputs it. In this way, the objective pot with an excellent property in which it does not occur that a baked state is wrongly detected when hot water is poured, can be obtained.

2. Description of the Related Art A conventional electric water heater of this type is disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 61-276522 so that it will not be damaged when heated without water in the container. There is one that measures the rise time of the unit temperature width of the temperature sensor pressed against the outer bottom of the container and compares this time with a predetermined value to stop heating when it is shorter than the predetermined value. The temperature range is set to 0.5 to 2 degrees.

The inventors erroneously stopped heating due to fluctuations in the temperature curve immediately after the start of heating in the determination based on the rising time of the unit temperature width set to 0.5 to 2 degrees. Point out that there is a problem that
As disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 63-302925, the temperature of water in the container is detected by a temperature sensor pressed against the outer bottom of the container, which is independent of the unit temperature width for detecting boiling and is the temperature immediately after the start of heating. Two temperature points having a temperature width sufficiently larger than the fluctuation of the curve etc. are set, the time required to pass these two temperature points is measured, and this time is compared with a predetermined time for baking. Invented an electric water heater that detects.

However, in the above-mentioned conventional electric water heater, when hot water is poured into the container, the temperature of the temperature sensor rises sharply. There was a problem of stopping.
That is, the heater capacity has increased in recent years in order to meet the consumer's demand for shortening the time required for boiling water, and as a result, the temperature shared with the boiling detection operation that works after the sensor temperature reaches about 80 degrees as in the conventional case. If dry firing is detected by measuring the rising gradient, there is a problem that the container will be discolored and the thermal fuse for overheating prevention will melt because the subsequent overshoot is large, and the temperature rising gradient is detected at the lowest possible temperature. Had to do. However, even in the case of air baking, the temperature rise gradient is not so large as the temperature is low as shown in FIG. 2A. This is mainly due to the thermal response delay of the heater. On the other hand, B and C in the same figure show a case of supplying hot water of 100 degrees and a case of supplying hot water of 60 degrees, and are shown when hot water which has been preheated is poured into a container. As shown in the figure, it first rises rapidly and then gradually saturates. And since the temperature rise gradient up to around 40 degrees is greater when pouring hot water than when firing in the air, if you try to reliably detect the air firing near this,
Even when pouring hot water, there was a problem that the heating was stopped by mistakenly determining that the baking was done in the air.

According to the present invention, the output of the water detecting means for detecting the presence or absence of water in the container is "no water" by the first means for solving the above problems.
The output of the second timer, which is set when the temperature changes from “to water” and outputs for a certain period of time, suppresses the dry firing detection means, so that even if hot water that has been preheated is poured into the container, it will be incorrect. It is possible to prevent discoloration of the container and damage to the product by detecting that the air is baked at a low temperature in the case of real air baking without detecting the air baking.

Further, according to the second means for solving the problem, it is set when the output of the water detecting means for detecting the presence or absence of water changes from "without water" to "with water" and is reset by the output of the boiling detecting means. By controlling the air-bake detection means by the output of the gate means, even if hot water that has been preheated is poured into the container, false air-bake detection will not be made erroneously. It can be detected during the temperature to prevent discoloration of the container and damage to the product.
