ることにより、当該吸気マニホールドに取付けた
燃料デリバリ管と、シリンダヘツドにおける燃料
噴射弁の装着孔との間における関係寸法に大きい
バラ付きが存在するから、この寸法のバラ付きの
ために、吸気マニホールドに取付く燃料デリバリ
管と、シリンダヘツドとの間に装着した燃料噴射
弁における軸線の傾き方向にずれができ、このた
めに燃料噴射弁から燃料室に対する燃料の噴射方
向がずれて、吸気ポートの壁面に付着する燃料の
量が多くなることにより、燃料の霧化が悪くな
り、燃焼不良によつて排気ガス中における未燃焼
成分が増大するのであり、しかも、前記燃料噴射
弁における軸線の傾き方向のずれのために、燃料
噴射弁のシリンダヘツドに対する装着部に燃料漏
れが発生するのである。

ダヘツドカバーを着脱自在に締結して成る内燃機
関において、前記シリンダヘツドには、前記カム
軸の下半分が嵌まる軸受部を、シリンダヘツドカ
バーには、前記カム軸の上半分に被嵌する軸受部
を各々造形して、これら軸受部にてカム軸を軸支
する一方、前記燃料デリバリ管を、当該燃料デリ
バリ管に固着したブラケツトを介して前記シリン
ダヘツドカバーに対して着脱可能に取付ける構成
にした。

場合と同様に、シリンダヘツド1の上面とシリン
ダヘツドカバー3内に造形した軸受部によつて軸
支されている。

3に取付く燃料デリバリ管14と、シリンダヘツ
ド1の一側面における燃料噴射弁用装着孔9との
間における関係寸法のバラ付きを小さくできる。
