Such earth retaining baskets are usually formed of rhombus-shaped wire mesh, but since the rhombic wire mesh is highly flexible, the sides of the earth retaining basket may bend due to the impact force when filling with soil and stones, the earth pressure after filling, etc. It was easy to bulge and deform, and the earth retaining function was likely to deteriorate.

Therefore, recently, welded wire mesh with high rigidity has been used in many cases, and with this, the problem has arisen of how to easily and quickly connect the welded wire meshes that make up each side of the retaining cage.

Therefore, as a method for connecting this type of welded wire mesh, two wire meshes 1 and 2 are connected as shown in FIG.
A method has generally been adopted in which the connecting wire 5 is spirally wound around the strands 3a and 4a located at the ends of the wires, but the work is relatively troublesome and time-consuming, and furthermore, the spiral connecting wire 5 is wrapped around the welded wire mesh. Since each of the strands 3a, 3b, 4a, and 4b of Nos. 1 and 2 are attached in a different manner, the wire mesh has a disadvantage that it feels strange when viewed as a whole and does not look good.

Further, the ends of the horizontal strands 17 in the side mesh 14 can be bent and wound around the vertical strands 16a at the ends.
It is possible to increase the strength when a load from the front net 12 is applied to a. The above-mentioned vertical wire 16 at that time

Here, at least the upright surface nets of the earth retaining basket 10, that is, the front net 12, the rear net 13, and the side nets 14, 14, are wire nets that constitute them.
As shown in FIG. 4, a recess 20 is formed in the vertical strand 16 by bending, and with the lateral strand 17 fitted into the recess 20, the lateral strand 17 is welded and integrated with the vertical strand 16. By adopting this structure, even when impact force during filling with earth and stone, earth pressure after filling, etc. act on the horizontal strands 17 downward or diagonally downward, the engagement force of the lateral strands 17 can be improved. Therefore, peeling can be reliably prevented. This peeling prevention effect can be further enhanced by using the horizontal strands 17 inside the retaining cage.

Furthermore, by appropriately extending reinforcing wires between the front net 12 and the bottom net 11, between the front net 12 and the rear net 13, or both, the above-mentioned impact force, earth pressure, etc. can be reduced. Therefore, it is possible to more effectively prevent the front mesh 12 from being bulged and deformed. An appropriate number of these reinforcing wires are attached to the middle position in the width direction or both ends of the retaining basket.

[Effects of the invention] As described above, according to the invention, the ends of the ring-attached strands are located at the ends of the welded wire mesh to be connected, and are placed on both sides of the connecting strands that intersect with the ring-attached strands. By arranging a suitable number of wires alternately, the connecting wires are interwoven between the ends of these looped wires, and a common stop wire is inserted through each ring, and the stop wire is connected to the above-mentioned. Since it is fixed to the connecting strands, it is not only possible to perform the connecting work more easily and quickly than when using spiral connecting wires, but it also does not spoil the appearance of the wire mesh. By assembling the wire with a ring and the connecting wire in a woven state, the movement of the wire meshes can be reliably restricted, and both wire meshes can be easily and stably connected. The wire mesh does not tilt or wobble as would occur if the wire mesh was simply inserted into the mesh of the other party's wire mesh. This effect, especially when applied to connecting the side nets of earth retaining baskets, prevents the side nets from tilting when a large number of earth retaining baskets are installed on the ground and filled with gravel, earth, etc. using a power shovel, etc. It is remarkable in that the filling operation is very simple. Further, since it is only necessary to form a ring on one of the wire meshes, the structure is simple and manufacturing is easy.
