示すような構成となつている。すなわち、無端状
に配設されて回動するステツプ1とハンドレール
2のような移動体、それにハンドレール2を案内
する略U字形のハンドレールフレーム3、ハンド
レールデツキ4及びモールデイング5等の欄干意
匠材、これらの欄干意匠材とステツプ1との間を
塞ぐ欄干パネル6、外装板7等で構成される欄干
8を備えている。さらに、この欄干8の内部には
マンコンベアの全強度を保持する本体枠9に固設
された支柱10、この支柱10に固定された支持
具11,12及び13などがあり、支持具11で
はビス14を介してハンドレールフレーム3とハ
ンドレールデツキ4を支持する一方、その外側で
はビス15を介してモールデイング5を支持し、
さらに支持具12では欄干パネル6を、支持具1
3では外装板7を支持する仕組みになつている。
なお、ハンドレールデツキ4はその内側において
欄干パネル6の上端を被うコ字形部4aとその外
側においてはモールデイング5と共に外装板7の

ールデツキ4とモールデイング5はマンコンベア
の全長方向に連続的に配置されるものであるが、
これらを支持する支柱10と支持具11は第1図
に符号Pで示したように約1m程度の間隔で配置
されるため、この支柱10と支柱10の間におい
て、すき間gが発生し、このすき間gが欄干3の
見栄えを著しく減殺すると共に乗客の手先や異物
の侵入を招くという安全上の欠陥となつている。
この現象は、U字形あるいはC字形を成して上下
方向に強い剛性を有するハンドレールフレーム3
とハンドレールデツキ4に比較して単にL字形で
下方に撓み易い形状のモールデイング5が支柱1
0のない部分において沈下し易いために発生する
ものであり、このモールデイング5が本来確保さ
れるべき直線Zの状態から下方に弓なりになるこ
とによつて生じている。この悪現象を防止する手
段としては支持具としては支持具11をマンコン
ベアの全長に亘つて配置するか、支柱10を更に
細かい間隔で本体枠9に植立することになるが、
これに伴う重量の増大、組付け工数及び製造コス
トの面で大きな不利益となる。

定することによつて前記第2の部材の断面逆L字
形の水平部を前記第1の部材に密着させる第2の
支持体とを前記隣接する支柱の間に設けたのであ
