Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent water from pooling in a storage casing by agitating water with the use of a preagitating means after supply of water, and by replenishing a washing machine with water, as necessary. CONSTITUTION:A level sensor 13 detects the level of water in a water tank 2 so that the supply of water is stopped when the level of water comes to a predetermined level. Thereafter, a pulsator 5 is rotated so as to allow garments to absorb water. Accordingly, the garments are impregnated with water so that the level of water lowers. The level of water at this time is detected by the level sensor 13 so as to determine whether the level of water is lower than the set level or not. That is, a comparing means 29 compares a decrease in the water quantity with a supply quantity which is required for causing a siphoning phenomenon within the storage easing 14. Further, when the decrease in the water quantity is larger than the supply water quantity required for the siphoning phenomenon, a water replenishing means 30 replenishes the water tank 2 with water until the level of water comes to the predetermined one, but when the decrease in the water quantity is smaller than the supply water quantity for the siphoning phenomenon, a replenishment stopping means stops the replenishment of water.

Then, the pulsator is driven to agitate the water and the article to be washed so that the article to be washed contains water. Then,
Since the water level in the washing tub drops slightly due to the water content of the laundry, it is judged whether or not the water level at this time is below the set water level, and if it has reached the set water level, the main washing is started.
If the set water level has not been reached, water is supplied until the set water level is reached, and then a washing process, a rinsing process, and a dehydrating process are performed. Such a technique is also disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 2-43518.

As shown in FIG. 5, this is for draining water supplied to a storage case for liquid detergent or the like from drain pipes 17a, 18a formed at the bottom thereof.
18a is covered with cylindrical caps 17b and 18b,
Finally, the liquid detergent and the like accumulated in the storage case is discharged into the water tank together with water due to the siphon phenomenon. By using this Saifon system, liquid finishing agents can also be used in fully automatic washing machines.

However, in a washing machine utilizing the above-mentioned automatic siphon-on type detergent insertion system, when water supply as shown in FIG. 7 is performed, regardless of the amount of water reduction after stirring the laundry to be washed. When replenishing water supply is automatically performed, when the replenishing water supply amount is less than the predetermined amount that causes the sifon phenomenon (necessary amount for sifon phenomenon occurrence), the water supply is stopped before the sifon phenomenon occurs and water accumulates in the storage case. , Gives the user an unpleasant feeling.

For example, if the reduced water level of the water tank 2 is 20 mm, the volume can be known from the diameter of the water tank, and the amount of reduced water can be known. At this time, if the volume of the water tank 2 is 2 l / cm, the amount of water reduction is 4 l, and therefore 4 l of supplementary water supply is required.

Here, the bleaching agent charging section 1 of the storage case 14
Assuming that the amount of water produced by the sifon phenomenon in No. 7 is 0.2 liters, if 4 liters of water is replenished, the replenishment water is branched from the first water supply unit 20 into about 9: 1.
l, 0.4 l will be replenished to the bleaching agent charging part 17. Since the amount of replenished water (0.4 l) to the bleaching agent input part 17 is larger than the amount of water with which the sifon phenomenon occurs (0.2 l),
A sifion phenomenon occurs in the bleaching agent input part 17, and the supplementary water is discharged from the bleaching agent input part 17 almost without remaining. Therefore, in such a case, supplementary water supply is performed.

On the contrary, when the water level is reduced to 2.5 mm, the required replenishment water is 0.5 liters, which means that 0.45 liters of detergent feed portion 16 and 0.05 liters of bleaching agent feed portion 17 are replenished. Therefore, the sifon phenomenon does not occur in the bleaching agent charging section 17, and 0.05 l of water remains in the bleaching agent charging section 17. So in this case,
Do not execute supplemental water supply. After that, a washing process, a rinsing process, and a dehydrating process are performed.

This operation is not limited to the initial water supply, but is similarly performed in the rinsing stroke and in the softening agent charging section 18 of the second water supply path 24. In this case,
Since all the supplementary water is flown into the softening agent charging unit 18, it is necessary to compare the amount of water reduction and the required amount of siphon generation in a timely manner.

As described above, since replenishment water is supplied only when the amount of replenishment water supplied into the bleaching agent charging section 17 and the softening agent charging section 18 is equal to or more than the amount capable of generating the siphon phenomenon, bleaching agent charging is performed. Part 17 and softener input part 1

Further, it is prevented that the required amount of the bleaching agent and the softening agent cannot be stored because water remains in the bleaching agent feeding section 17 and the softening agent feeding section 18 at the time of the next washing.

As is apparent from the above description, according to the present invention, the supplementary water supply is performed only when the supplementary water supply amount flowing into the storage case is equal to or more than the amount capable of generating the sifon phenomenon. Eliminates user discomfort, such as the case where the water supply remains in the case.

Further, there is an excellent effect that it is possible to prevent that the necessary amount of the bleaching agent and the softening agent cannot be stored because the water remains in the storage case at the time of the next washing.
