(Prior Art) Conventionally, this type of document pressure plate opening/closing device stably stops and holds the document pressure plate at an intermediate opening angle to facilitate placing and replacing the document on the document placement table. Between the mounting member attached to the main body of the apparatus and the support member rotatably attached to the mounting member via a hinge pin to support the document pressure plate, the support member is moved in the opening direction of the document pressure plate. A device in which a compressed coil spring is elastically installed is known, and these techniques are disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 53-30324, US Pat.
It is disclosed in various publications such as No. 12779.

The support member 7 further includes a control pin 21 on the pin 19 side but at a different pivot point.
It is mounted so that it cannot rotate itself by abutting against a protrusion 20c protruding from the side plate 20a. First arm members 22, 22 are pivotally attached to the control pin 21, and one end of the first arm members 22, 22 is connected to both side plates of the mounting member 1 by pins 23, 23 on the free end sides of the first arm members 22, 22. The free end side of the second arm members 24, 24 which are pivotally connected together is connected to the pin 2.
4a, 24a, and constitute so-called crank means 25, 25. A torsion coil spring 26, 26 is wound around the pin 19 and elastically installed between the control pin 21 and the support pin 14, and the rear part of the original pressure bonding plate B is fixed to the control member 20. ing.

In this state, the torsion coil spring 9,
Since the combined elasticity of the elasticity of the compression coil spring 9 and the elasticity of the compression coil springs 17 and 17 is less than the weight of the original pressure bonding plate B, the document pressure bonding plate B maintains a stable closed state and presses the document with its own weight onto the contact glass. 27 is pressed upward. Of course, at this point, the original pressing plate B may be pressed onto the contact glass 27 by directing the elasticity of the compression coil springs 17, 17 downward. Furthermore, the crank means 25, 25 (only one shown) pulls the control pin 21 of the control member 20 clockwise, and furthermore, the torsion coil spring 2
6 and 26 (only one shown) are also control pins 21
is rotated clockwise. In the above-mentioned state, the compression coil springs 17, 17 are in the maximum compression state, but their elasticity hardly acts in the direction to open the document pressure bonding plate B.

Next, when the original pressure bonding plate B is opened from this state, since the control member 20 is in contact with the back of the support member 7, the document pressure bonding plate B supports the document pressure bonding plate B using the pivot position of the hinge pin of the support member 7 as a fulcrum. Together with the member 7 and the control member 20, it is rotated clockwise and opened as shown in FIGS. 5-6. The compression coil spring 1 rotates clockwise together with the spring control members 16, 16 as the original pressure bonding plate B is opened.
The direction of action of 7 and 17 changes so as to push the support member 7 in the opening direction, and this elasticity is combined with the elasticity of the torsion coil springs 9 and 9 to reduce the weight of the document pressure bonding plate B. Therefore, the original pressure bonding plate B can be opened without feeling the weight too much, and the weight of the document pressure bonding plate B, that is, the torque that changes moment by moment depending on the opening angle, and the direction to cancel this torque. Even if you release your hand from the document pressure bonding plate B when the elasticity acting on the document pressure plate B is balanced, the document will stop in a slightly inverted state as described later and will not fall naturally.

This stop tolerance range is defined by the friction members 11,
11 and spring washer 12, and attaching member 1.
This is increased by the frictional force generated by interposing the shaft at the pivot point of the support member 7, that is, the position of the hinge pin 6, and caulking the tail portion 6b of the hinge pin 6.

When the original pressure bonding plate B is further opened, the elasticity of the torsion coil springs 9 and the compression coil spring 1 are
Since the combined elasticity of the elasticities 7 and 17 exceeds the torque of the original pressure bonding plate B, the document pressure bonding plate B is naturally opened and has an opening angle of approximately 75° as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8. The stopper pin 10 comes into contact with the edges of the side plates 1a, 1a of the mounting member 1, and stops.

Even if it does not open to this maximum opening angle, there is no problem in using it, and when you release your hand within the opening angle range of approximately 35° to 60°, the original pressure bonding plate B will be torsionally elasticized by the coil springs 26 and 26 as described above. control member 2 against
It stops in a reversed state every 0, and this reversal angle is determined by each crank means 25,
The first and second arm members 22, 2 constituting 25
It is determined by the distance between the control pin 21 and the pins 23, 23 that pivotally support the pins 2, 24, and 24, respectively.

When the opened document pressure bonding plate B is closed, the document pressure bonding plate B is slightly inverted as described above, and the torsion coil springs 9, 9 and the compression coil springs 17, 17 are rotated while changing the inversion angle moment by moment. At a position where the document pressure bonding plate B is closed against elasticity and is approximately parallel to the contact glass 27,
Due to the combined effect of the elasticity of the crank means 25, 25 and the torsion coil springs 26, 26, the original pressure bonding plate B is closed while maintaining a state parallel to the contact glass 27.

Furthermore, even if the original is thick like the book 28, the reversed original pressing plate B will cover the upper surface of the book 28 in the ninth position.
As shown in the figure, since it can be covered approximately horizontally, leakage of exposure light to the outside or intrusion of outside light into the inside of the machine can be prevented as much as possible.

(Effects) As explained in detail above, according to this invention,
It has a simple structure and is safe because it will not fall suddenly even when the document pressure plate is heavy. It also has a range that allows the opened document pressure plate to be stably stopped without giving a shock to the machine. In addition, the opening and closing operations can be performed easily.
