[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, in the method of manufacturing such decorative plywood, as mentioned above, all the thermosetting resin-impregnated papers 1a, 1a, . . . of the target number are integrally heat-pressed. harden,
Because of the adhesion, it was difficult to volatilize the moisture in the resin liquid during hot pressing, and moisture often remained in the thermosetting resin-impregnated paper laminate after hot pressing.
Therefore, if this product is left under high-temperature conditions for a long period of time, there is a problem that the dimensions and shape will change due to moisture or temperature changes, making it unsuitable for vehicle interior applications where temperature changes are large. . Furthermore, with this method, the decorative plywood had poor moldability, and it was difficult to mold the decorative plywood into a curved shape with a relatively small radius of curvature. Further, even when curved surface molding was performed, the shape stability after the molding process was low, and if left for a long time at high temperatures, there was also the disadvantage that shape changes such as warping occurred.

[Function] In this way, the desired decorative plywood is manufactured by the method having the first step and the second step, so the conventional decorative plywood is manufactured by integrally heat-pressing all the desired number of sheets of thermosetting resin-impregnated paper. Compared to the manufacturing method of The amount of water contained in the decorative plywood is extremely small. Therefore, it has the advantage of preventing dimensional and shape changes caused by moisture and temperature changes even if it is left at high temperatures for long periods of time, making it suitable for use as decorative plywood for vehicle interiors, which are subject to rapid temperature changes. can do. In addition, since adhesive-impregnated paper is used to adhere each thermosetting resin-impregnated paper laminated cured sheet, it is possible to avoid moisture contamination compared to adhesion using liquid adhesive, and it also has a reinforcing effect, allowing It also has the advantage of not causing peeling. Further, according to this method, the molding processability is good, curved surface molding is easy, and the shape stability after curved surface molding is also excellent.

The number of laminated sheets of a... may be the number divided into several sets of the number of sheets of thermosetting resin impregnated paper 1a, 1a... that will ultimately be used for the intended decorative plywood, but it is sufficient to improve the shape stability. The number of sheets is preferably about 2 to 7, since the effect and molding processability improvement effect can be sufficiently obtained. The amount of the resin liquid impregnated is preferably such that the dry weight after impregnation is 0.3 to 1.0 times the weight of the base paper or nonwoven fabric. Further, appropriate additives such as fillers and colorants may be added to this thermosetting resin liquid as necessary.

Next, as a second step, the thermosetting resin-impregnated paper laminated cured sheets 1, 1... and the adhesive-impregnated papers 2, 2... are stacked alternately, and then both or one side of this stack is coated. The decorative veneer 3 is placed and hot pressed. Adhesive-impregnated paper 2, 2... is a base paper such as kraft paper or rayon paper with a thickness of about 0.02 to 0.08 mm, or a nonwoven fabric (basis weight about 20 to 80 g/ m2 ) made of vinylon fiber, acrylic fiber, etc. It is impregnated with a thermosetting resin adhesive such as phenolic resin, epoxy resin, vinyl butyral-modified phenolic resin, or nitrile-modified phenolic resin, and left in a dry or semi-dry state. When these adhesive-impregnated papers 2, 2... and the thermosetting resin-impregnated paper laminated cured sheets 1, 1... are stacked alternately, the adhesive-impregnated papers 2, 2... are stacked on sheets 1, 1...
Although it may be sandwiched only between the sheet 1 and the decorative veneer 3, it is preferable to sandwich it also between the sheet 1 and the decorative veneer 3, so that the decorative veneer 3 can be firmly bonded. Further, as the decorative veneer 3, a decorative veneer of about 0.15 to 0.5 mm in thickness, such as oak, teak, walnut, or rosewood, is suitably used.

The heat pressure at this time is usually carried out at a temperature of 80 to 150°C, preferably about 120 to 140°C, and a pressure of about 0.5 to 2 MPa. Although the plates 2 are bonded and integrated, since the pressure conditions are relatively low, curved surface forming can also be performed at the same time. Curved surface molding may be carried out by hot pressing using a mold having a desired shape consisting of a male mold and a female mold, thereby obtaining a laminate molded into a desired shape.

Furthermore, the surface of this decorative veneer 3 can be coated as appropriate. The coating method is not particularly limited, but usually a transparent paint such as melamine resin paint, epoxy resin paint, unsaturated polyester resin paint, polyurethane resin paint, or acrylic resin paint is applied by a conventional method such as brushing or spraying. When dried, it forms a colorless transparent or colored transparent coating film with a thickness of about 0.2 to 0.8 mm.

According to this method, in the first step, a relatively small number of sheets of thermosetting resin-impregnated paper 1a, 1a... are laminated and hot-pressed, so that the moisture in the resin is easily volatilized at this stage. . Also, in the second step,
Thermosetting resin-impregnated paper laminated cured sheet 1, 1...
are laminated again with the adhesive-impregnated paper sandwiched between them and hot-pressed, so that the remaining moisture can be sufficiently volatilized. As a result, the moisture content in the target decorative plywood is extremely low, so even if it is left for a long time at high temperatures, there will be no dimensional or shape changes due to moisture or temperature changes. Does not cause quality deterioration. Therefore, it is suitable for use in vehicle interiors where temperature changes are severe. Also, each sheet 1,
Adhesive-impregnated paper 2, 2... is used to bond 1..., so compared to bonding with liquid adhesive, it is possible to avoid moisture contamination, and it also has a reinforcing effect and does not cause delamination. There are also advantages. Moreover, according to this method, moldability is good and curved surface molding can be easily performed. It also has excellent shape stability after curved surface molding, and can maintain its shape stably even against temperature changes and external forces.

[Example] Three layers of thermosetting resin-impregnated paper laminated cured sheets were prepared by laminating three sheets of kraft paper impregnated with a phenol resin liquid and curing and bonding them by heat and pressure at a temperature of 150° C. and a pressure of 8 MPa. Each of these sheets and epoxy resin-impregnated vinylon paper were layered alternately, and a walnut decorative veneer was placed on one side of the layered material, using a semi-cylindrical mold with a radius of curvature of 200 mm. At a temperature of 100℃ and a pressure of 1MPa
The mixture was cured and bonded by hot pressing for 15 minutes to obtain a semi-cylindrical laminate. An unsaturated polyester resin paint was applied to the surface of the decorative veneer of this laminate to form a transparent coating film with a thickness of 0.5 mm to obtain the desired decorative plywood.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, the method for manufacturing decorative plywood for vehicle interiors of the present invention involves laminating a plurality of sheets of thermosetting resin-impregnated paper and hot pressing to form a thermosetting resin-impregnated paper laminated cured sheet. Then, a plurality of thermosetting resin-impregnated paper laminated cured sheets and adhesive-impregnated paper are layered alternately, a decorative veneer is placed on the surface of this layered material, and it is cured and bonded by heat pressing. In the heat-pressing process mentioned above, the moisture in the resin is easily volatilized, and the amount of moisture contained in the resulting decorative plywood is extremely small, so it maintains dimensional stability even under wide fluctuations in environmental conditions such as temperature changes. It has the advantage of being able to maintain shape stability and not causing quality deterioration. Therefore, it can be suitably used as decorative plywood for vehicle interiors, which are subject to severe temperature changes. Further, the molding processability is good, and molding processes such as curved surface molding can be easily performed simultaneously with the above-mentioned hot pressing. Furthermore, even after forming, the decorative plywood has good shape stability and can maintain its shape stably even under temperature changes and external forces.
