Abstract

PURPOSE:To extremely effectively do the work of repairing a steel tower, such as painting work. CONSTITUTION:The title apparatus has a hanging scaffold 1 fixable at any place of a steel pipe-made single pole tower A, a hanging fixture 2 for suspending the hanging scaffold 1, a wire rope 3 and a winch 4 for lifting or lowering the hanging scaffold 1 through the wire rope 3. While the hanging scaffold 1 is being transferred by alternately repeating the fixing thereof and the lifting or lowering thereof, the steel pipe-made single pole tower A is repaired up to the underside of a crossarm C. After that, the hanging scaffold 1 is fixed at the underside of the crossarm C, scaffolding 9 is fabricated with scaffolding members made of an insulating material or on which the treatment of insulation is done, and the upper part of the crossarm C is repaired.
